Hi Nomadicghumakkad, The article I created is about an Upcoming Malayalam cinema which is to be releasing soon. Can you please mention what more details I have to add in the article. I added the sources which are valuable in Wikipedia. If any more details to be added please mention here and take this a requestPaavamjinn (talk) 14:48, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Paavamjinn , thank you for your contributions. First of all, I must warn you of WP:COI. Please declare any conflict of interest you may have with this film. Beyond that, as per WP:NFILM, it should have two full length reviews. However, considering there is so much coverage, it also might just qualify WP:GNG. Out of all these sources, can you highlight WP:THREEE? Means present three best sources according to you. Nomadicghumakkad (talk) 14:54, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nomadicghumakkad, I don't have any personal interest on this film. My only objective is to improve Wikipedia articles. Basically I from Kerala. My intrested side is movies. So that I choose film section. Choosing difficult articles firstly is not easy. So I choose Films so that I can improve and later I can be part of some other articles. This film is an upcoming movie which is not released due to this pandemic. So that I am not able to provide that. Regarding latest news article, I am attaching four articles about the movie that come this year 1, 2, 3. Also I have a article from Techrader, which I have a doubt regarding it is a valuable source. The Link is 4. I added the article with maximum sources that I could find. Due to this pandemic the movie is in hold and no updates where came later January 2021.Paavamjinn (talk) 16:14, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Paavamjinn. I will go through these tomorrow and respond. Nomadicghumakkad (talk) 16:23, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nomadicghumakkad these all are latest Sources I got from Internet. If I need to mention more sources it will be at the time of announcement, i.e, in 2019 sources. Can I save this draft and at the time any updates come I will add those sources and will resubmit this article. Is that fine.Paavamjinn (talk) 14:29, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Sumesh and Ramesh

[edit]

Hello, Paavamjinn. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Sumesh and Ramesh".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 22:49, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Mirnaa Menon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is the main space version of a draft that was declined six times (Draft:Mirnaa) before the page creator just created a main space version.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Liz Read! DaxServer The template says the content is long. As it is the plot of the movie how can we reduce the content. Many movies plot has more than this article. As the plot of the movies refers we giving what the movie story. So I thought I can remove the template and sorry for the mistake I done. I read the content I don't think that the content need to reduce, as it contains the important informations about the movie story. Please cross check it.Paavamjinn (talk) 10:50, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please read MOS:FILMPLOT - It outlines what can go into the plot sections. It restricts the plot to a maximum of 700 words. Nothing more than that. There is always a way to reduce the current plot. Other articles which have more plot like you said, also need to be trimmed. Hope it helps :) — DaxServer (t · m · c) 10:53, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

DaxServer So can I add maintenance templates to the articles that contains more than 700 words. I go throught many articles like that. Anyway I will try my Maximum to reduce the plot summary of Bheeshma Parvam Paavamjinn (talk) 19:04, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Mirrors

[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Mammootty filmography. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Kuru (talk) 00:35, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

kuru I have added the citations that are available in Internet. May I know which citation is in problem I provided. I have got all the sources by searching in Internet and I tried my level best in it.Paavamjinn (talk) 02:47, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please read through the links I gave you above? Specifically, the one on reliable sources. "Available on the internet" does not qualify something as an acceptable source. You can look at the article's history here, and from that see my two edits (here and here) which remove the same link you added. It's probably that one that is the problematic source. Kuru (talk) 12:10, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
kuru I am sorry. I added DBpedia source because I was not able to find a source for the movie. Later I discussed with a user who is a good editor and makes some featured lists and articles and added the official website of the actor Mammootty itself. For the old movie back 1980s it will be very difficult to find reliable sources. I tried my level best to find the reliable sources. From now I wiol be very carefull in adding sources.Paavamjinn (talk) 14:36, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
kuru Can I use actor Mammootty official website https://mammootty.com as source for Mammootty filmography. For movies in 1980s it is very difficult to find the sources.Paavamjinn (talk) 15:23, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bazooka (2023 film) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Bazooka (2023 film), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon

Hello Paavamjinn. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Paavamjinn. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Paavamjinn|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 12:32, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
