Really appreciate your support, i am trying to avoid that much of the work that people has done in AWS article to be removed but i am not expert on wikipedia policies. Thanks for your support. Tech201805 (talk) 07:36, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Tech201805: sure np. Just get familiarized with WP:IRS. If several independent reliable sources talk about it, the information cannot be removed from Wikipedia. Pewpewded (talk) 00:10, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

OpenShift Container Platform moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, OpenShift Container Platform, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Copying licensed material requires attribution[edit]

Hi. I see in the new article OKD (software) you included material from a webpage that is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 license. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this legal requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 17:34, 11 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Diannaa: that material was already available at OpenShift and was brought to Wikipedia by someone else before I split OpenShift into several independent articles. Please be careful when making assertions. Pewpewded (talk) 22:20, 11 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I was not aware you'd done that, since you did not mention it in your edit summary, as you should have done. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 00:01, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article OpenShift (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnecessary DAB page; most of these are partial title matches, and all the blue-links redirect to OpenShift.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. power~enwiki (π, ν) 16:58, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Pewpewded. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, Draft:OpenShift Container Platform.

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it. — JJMC89(T·C) 01:51, 11 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
