September 2019[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Meddle, you may be blocked from editing without further warnings. Thank you, - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 00:32, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A page you created has been nominated for deletion because it is a biography of a living person that is entirely negative in tone and has unsourced content, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create articles about living people that are entirely negative in tone and unsourced. Wikipedia has a policy of verifiability and any negative information we use must be reliably sourced, and our articles must be balanced. Negative, unreferenced biographies of living people, along with attack pages, are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Under section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy may be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Jalen D. Request reason:

I thought my edits were correct. I was trying to help. I have actually fixed some things that were ACTUALLY wrong on Wikipedia (Article: Bedtime Stories). I am sorry if my edits appear to constitute vandalism, but I was only trying to help

Decline reason:

Thanks for letting us know you lack sufficient competence to edit here. Unfortunately, competence is required. Yamla (talk) 17:56, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Okay, from now on I will use grammarly. Can you please unblock me. PinkFloydismuchlit (talk) 18:05, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It's not your grammar that's the problem. You need to demonstrate a level of maturity that your edit history indicates you do not possess at this time. Unless you can give an example of a substantive edit you would make(more than fixing spelling) I would suggest that you not request unblock for some time, so that you can mature as a person and contributor. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 18:35, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I edited the article “bedtime stories”. This article was quite clearly vandalized because, instead of putting Adam Sandler it had Adam Shankman, which is referring to a prison shanking somone. Now, if I was immature, I would have laughed and then left it. But instead I fixed it because I care about Wikipedia being a reliable source of information. I use Wikipedia all the time for research and need it to be reliable. So as you can see, I am only trying to help. I am sorry for any inconvenience.

Decline reason:

Per below. Maybe come back in a few years; right now it's clear that you lack the competence to be a Wikipedia editor. Yunshui  08:03, 23 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Except Adam Shankman was actually the director, Adam Sandler was a producer and appeared in the film. This only demonstrates that you should not be unblocked. 331dot (talk) 07:12, 23 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
