File copyright problem with File:Caucasus ethniciti.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Caucasus ethniciti.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ZooFari 00:45, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Map of batumi.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Map of batumi.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 01:30, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Stop puting your unsourced map into the article. Discuss it on the talk page and provide the source. The image from flickr is sure not reliable.--Bouron (talk) 19:12, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
We Already talked about this map in another page. There is sourse too (newer map)Map based on "Eurpoean Center For Minority Issues" 2009 yars' map!! So it's more correct map than this old one you are putting in. So, you stop puting old map --Politologia (talk) 19:15, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Provide map from official site. I can upload to flickr another map with mongols as majority in Georgia. I will also put there UN emblem. Finally I will put it to all Georgia related articles and my map will have similar rights with yours one.
- And provide talk page where you talked about this map.--Bouron (talk) 19:53, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
I've already disscuss this map with French and English administrators. If you have any question's ask them. I'am not gonna disscus this map again! Repeat for you agan We already diskuss this map! --Politologia (talk) 20:09, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Give me links or their usernames. I will also say that I discussed my map with german, french, english....administrators. give me the links.
- Your map is from flickr. provide map from official website.--Bouron (talk) 20:17, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
I've already answared you. --Politologia (talk) 20:21, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
Here is your sourse http://www.sxva.info/menu/info_maps.html. Now take a deep breath and relex Ossetian Boy ;) --Politologia (talk) 20:28, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- www.sxva.info is not official website. Official is www.ecmi.de. Your site is its georgian department. So it can't be neutral. take a look [1]. Most of workers are georgians. Give map from official website and give me usernames of your administrators.--Bouron (talk) 07:45, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
I think you have some problems with undaerstanding or english or something else :) There is some georgian an foriegn sientists working on this issue (National Minorities in Georgia) (By the way Georgian Sientist have the same quolifikation as foreign ones. So from you is very rude to say like: "Your site is its georgian department. So it can't be neutral."). Yas, this is Georgian department, but this is official department, so ECMI recognise this map like other any ECMI maps!! and it's dosn't matter where the map is! Repeat for those people who can't or don't want to understand what the Official Brench of organization is: This map is ECMI map, made by Georgian and Foreign sientist working in Georgia, that's why map had been putted on this site!! This is my last answare to you, cuz you really can't or don't wont to understand that map is correct. Good Luck --Politologia (talk) 11:15, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sovetizacia 1921 2.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Sovetizacia 1921 2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. nn123645 (talk) 18:32, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

I've reverted your change to the population of Kutaisi. Where did you get the idea that the second-largest city in Georgia has a population of 192.5? --Stepheng3 (talk) 17:49, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
Helo. The pictures I've uploaded is really mine. I can prove it. But i didn' know that wikipedia don't have licanse agreemant with Flicker. Hope you'll understand my explonation, and unblock me. By the way, I have a question. The picutres I've uploaded on Fliker I lost on my computer, cuz the hard drive was demaged. How can I uload the pictures on WIki in this case?
Decline reason:
You have been violating copyright on images for years, so you are well aware that Flickr images were not permitted. Care to explain why the photographs in question comes from a variety of camera types? Do you really own that many expensive cameras? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 17:15, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Here are just one of the latest discrepancies that is troubling me: You claimed credit for File:Kutaisi - Torpedo Stadium Achi Gegenava 2010.jpg which appears to be a copy of this "all-rights reserved" photo created by Achi Gegenava ("ap-achi"). Then you claimed credit for File:Temo BLumgardt Kutaisi 2010.jpg which is a copy of this "all-rights reserved" photo created by Nicholas Landru. Then you also credit your photos to Temo Blumgardt whose blog I find also has a later copy of the Torpedo Stadium photo. I have a hard time understanding how you are each of these people. Can you explain these discrepancies? — CactusWriter (talk) 17:22, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- Achi Gegenava and Nicholas Landru is my freinds. So I can use their fotoes with no problem.I am photographer, and these people use my fotoes too so it's some kind of agreement between us. What about problems before. It's because, meny times, when I tried to contac somebody to explane me how to do something nobody respond me. In these case the same problem. How can I and liscece useing flicker? Just write authors name? or maybe link on page?--Politologia (talk) 08:57, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
- No. It is very much a problem to copy other photographers' work. It is a violation of copyright law. In each of those uploads you have also falsely claimed to have "created this work entirely by myself." Only the copyright holder can grant license for the use of their own work. The only photos on flickr which may be freely used are those licensed as CC-BY-SA. Please list which of these other photos were taken by your friends. — CactusWriter (talk) 17:55, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
- All of them. I'm not using stranger's pictures. Ok now I understood how to upload photoes like this. Thanks for informaiton. --Politologia (talk) 08:57, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

- To clarify, some Flickr images are under the CC-BY license, which is also acceptable. Conversely, a free license must allow third-party commercial use and modification; so if an image is under a non-commercial (indicated by a crossed-out dollar sign) and/or a no derivatives (indicated by an equals sign) license, it's not free enough. (The same is true for "all rights reserved" images.) Such images cannot be used on Wikipedia (subject to the fair use exception), unless explicitly re-licensed by the author. Also, just because an image (or other content) doesn't have a copyright notice, you can't assume that it's in public domain; to the contrary, in most countries any creative work is copyrighted by default from the moment of publication. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 19:45, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Politologia, there are plenty of editors who can provide advice about the uploading of images or text. In general, it is always best to use only your own original wording or photos. When in doubt, ask and wait for an answer before using anything questionable. Good luck with your further editing. — CactusWriter (talk) 17:28, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

- The filename File:20080813_georgia_33.jpg of your original upload makes it pretty clear that the photo is shamelessly stolen from that source. Thank you very much for vandalizing our project. --Martin H. (talk) 12:42, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
