Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at John M. Phillips. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Please let me know what's going on with this article. It looks to me like an IP hopper is continually removing your contributions, which I think, are well sourced and constructive. Let him remove it, edit warring is not the way to go, you can get blocked for that. Start a discussion on the talk page as to why you think the content should be retained, and we'll go from there. If the IP does not respond we will restore the content and deal with him, perhaps semi-protect the page to prevent further disruption from IPs. I've reviewed the report filed against you at WP:ANEW. It appears that you are adding negative material to the John M. Phillips article, and various IPs, who may be the same individual, are removing it. This has been going on for quite some time. You have made very few edits to Wikipedia. You have never participated in any discussions. Your edits appear to revolve around Alabama and sports. Frankly, based on your history on the Phillips article, I think your conduct warrants a block for slow edit warring and for WP:BLP violations. However, because you often don't edit, I would have to make the block fairly long to do any good.

Therefore, consider this a warning. I am going to semi-protect the article. That will keep the IPs from editing the article. However, it won't prevent you from editing the article. If you add material to the article that I deem to be a BLP violation, even if only in part, I will block you without any further warning or notice.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:59, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was looking at your recent changes and some of them appear to be very useful and others not so much. The link for 47 appears appropriate, but the one for the Range does not. Also, I don't in either of the links about the Birmingham pledge being done by an Pi Kappa Alpha alumnus.
