A tag has been placed on B Major (Music Producer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. NPP and AfC userboxes

Hello, I noticed that you have the AfC participant and New Page Patrol userboxes. I'm pretty sure that you're not a member of either groups, so could you please explain why they are on your userpage? Thanks, Pahunkat (talk) 15:31, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You put a number of userboxes on your userpage, some of which claimed to give you advanced permissions that you do not in fact have. I have removed them, please do not reinstate them.

A tag has been placed on Lady K Soul requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.facebook.com/ladyksoul/about/, https://omny.fm/shows/capetalk/the-profile-kristen-fortuin-p-k-a-lady-k-soul, and https://www.facebook.com/ReggaeAfrikaSoundsystem/posts/4186409328040720. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Clarification

[edit]

Hello. I want to clarify that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that supplies objective information, neutrally presented and available in reliable sources, on topics that can be shown to meet its inclusion requirements. Contributions are best made by people who don't have a conflict of interest, for whom the subject is of academic interest only.

If your interest is not in promoting particular musical artists and using Wikipedia to do that, but in helping Wikipedia by adding articles on notable performers, here are some guidelines. Note the further guidance supplied through each of the links.

  • Articles must be written in their contributors' own words. This is a legal requirement. Therefore, please do not copy and paste from other sources.
  • Sources that establish the notability of a subject will be reliable sources that are independent of the subject. There must be a number of sources providing significant coverage to the subject.
  • Articles must be written from a neutral point of view, without peacock language or puffery. This extends to material taken from outside sources. For example, if a source says "He has become very popular lately", this is subjective, not an expression of objective fact, and therefore it is still incorrect to repeat it in the article as though it were an objective, factual observation.

I hope this is helpful. Largoplazo (talk) 14:22, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Mr West (The Voice Of Streets)

[edit]

Hello Quinton Daniels,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mr West (The Voice Of Streets) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

December 2020, creating inappropriate pages

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you create an inappropriate page. Despite the page deletions thus far, previous template warnings, and specific guidance from User:Pahunkat and me, you continue to create pages that are inappropriate for Wikipedia, most recently on a musician for whom the same article has already been deleted at least three times. Please stop. Largoplazo (talk) 13:01, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

DO NOT go round wikipedia tagging other pages for deletion because of what has happened. Pahunkat (talk) 13:08, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bmusique99, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
