(Goa rejoined India in the year 1961 and not 1975. Goa was not part of Portugal, but a overseas territory far away from mainland. hence you cannot say that in 1510 to 1975. Please do not vandalize the Wikipedia page of Goa as it was clear and clean)
FACTS & TRUTH: Dear Friend, Goa was invaded and annexed in 1961 defined by the UN. It rejoined the REPUBLIC OF INDIA in 1974/75 after a sovreignity treaty with the UN by PORTUGAL & India. So, please do NOT VANDALISE. READ UN CHARTER 1974/75 ON GOA ! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Portugal Editor Exploration (talk • contribs) 14:04, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
Hi Qwerty3594, CC: Abecedare
Your recent editing history at Goa shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war.
Goa was invaded and annexed in 1961 and was fully officially surrendered by Portuguese Republic to the Republic of India in 1974/75 UN TREATY OF SOVEREIGNTY (March 14, 1975). 1) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_annexation_of_Goa 2) http://web.stanford.edu/group/tomzgroup/pmwiki/uploads/1074-1962-03-KS-b-RCW.pdf 3) http://web.stanford.edu/group/tomzgroup/pmwiki/uploads/1074-1962-03-KS-a-RCW.pdf 4) http://www.colaco.net/1/treaty.htm
Thanks for your cooperation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Portugal Editor Exploration (talk • contribs) 14:19, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
Hi Qwerty3594: Please be professional. Officially the treaty of handing GOA and its sovereignty was not 1961 but 1975. So please understand the facts as stated by the UN CHARTER. :) I am a GOAN with Portuguese blood as much as your Indian and want to Indianise GOA's facts, Please let us be honest and truthful about the defined UN declaration. The UN declaration has been withdrawn in 1975 and the treaty has been signed, so its time you forget the past. After 1961 goa constitutionally became part of India and not in 1975. In 1975 the treaty was signed. Leave our Indian matters to us, and pls do not interfere in our matters.

[edit]Your recent editing history at Goa shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. [edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:23, 11 December 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive behaviour. Your behaviour is verging on harassment. Wikipedia prides itself on providing a safe environment for its collaborators, and harassing edits potentially compromise that safe environment. If you continue behaving like this, you may be blocked from editing. This is completely unacceptable. Please do not tell other editors what they can and can't edit. . However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Bbb23 (talk) 15:25, 11 December 2014 (UTC)

- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>
, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References== {{Reflist}}

Orphaned non-free image File:Seal of Goa.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Seal of Goa.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:15, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
I strongly suggest you not blindly revert the article to your preferred version, wiping out the improvements of others. If you wish to make changes, incorporate them into the current version. --NeilN talk to me 15:10, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
NeilN, with respect to your recent edit of the Goa Article. You have reversed my edit.
My edit had the "State" header which is now missing. Its just below the main article headline, the original article of 2014 had it. Its there for all Indian states Article written as "States of India"., Pls add this to the Goa article as someone has removed has its gone missing. I had put it now but u have revered it.
Pls do the changes, regards Qwerty3594 (talk) 15:16, 27 February 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Goa while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of more than one account or IP address by one person. If this was not your intention, then please always remember to log in when editing. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 12:05, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Jim1138. An edit you recently made to Goa seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 08:39, 7 February 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that in this edit to Goa, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 08:50, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
ARBIPA notification
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Goa, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Please refrain from deleting infobox information without a talk page consensus. Tamravidhir (talk) 06:23, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Goa. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Tamravidhir (talk) 06:24, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at Goa shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war.
