[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Payroll. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. Hi Bonadea, I am new to Wikipedia Community and still getting used to the rules. So does this mean that if I find information from a website, I shouldn't cite it? Or, should I have added the citation in the "External Links" area? Thank you for any insight you can help with!
- Hi again, no, all information needs a reliable source, but many (most) websites are not usable as sources in Wikipedia. It is not always easy to determine, but the link you used as a reference to the info you added about "Net pay" does not appear to be a particularly good source. The page on the external website contains a very minimal definition, and a very large and prominent advert for "premium content", and that's really not helpful for Wikipedia's readers. But as I said above, you can post to the article's talk page, or at the Reliable sources noticeboard, to check with other editors. Please have a look at the guideline here (it's the same one I linked above) ; there's a lot of information there, but hopefully you will find it useful. Managing a conflict of interest

Patriot Software (company) moved to draftspace

It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
