March 2013[edit]

Your recent editing history at Tyson Fury shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. --Michig (talk) 06:21, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Hello, I'm Tbhotch. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Wayne McCullough, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 22:10, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Wayne McCullough with this edit. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 22:31, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can you stop? Just stop already. Jon C. 09:45, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. Disambiguation link notification for April 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Barry McGuigan, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages King's Hall, Steve Cruz and Bernard Taylor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:48, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

June 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Wayne McCullough may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Vintagekits, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

talk page[edit]

Please use the article talk page to discuss your edits. Just to point out per WP:BRD if your edit is reverted then take it to talk instead of trying to force it through as you will only end up getting sanctions. I've explained my revert at the talk page, please engage there. Mabuska (talk) 19:20, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Once again please use the article talk page to discuss matters. If you checked out the articles talk page you would see I stated what the difference between your edit and my edit was. However thank you for realising that what I added is essentially the same thing but matches what the source states - not that he has Irish heritage (which the article doesn't actually state so it is unsourced), but that his parents are from Ireland, which we can state as it's sourced and will make editors assume that he has Irish heritage without it having to be said. Mabuska (talk) 20:57, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Talk pages[edit]

Please do not remove other editors comments as you did at User_talk:70.120.95.221. It is up to that editor who left the comment, or the person whose talk page that is to remove them. Mabuska (talk) 22:28, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
