Thanks, I'm getting the hang of this I think and have managed to find independant citations etc.
However, on this page Porter Brook - Wikipedia there is a section about the Sheaf & Porter Rivers Trust which includes their LOGO. When I tried to upload the logo for the page I'm working on (Friends of the Porter Valley) I kept getting a message to say it didn't comply? Can you tell me how the Sheaf & Porter Rivers Trust Logo has been uploaded please so that I can do the same.
Thanks RudHill (talk) 10:49, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Images are not usually uploaded to Wikipedia, but to the Wikimedia commons. In the article here, you then just link to it as if it were on here. The logo is already on there, so all you need to do now is link to it from your article.
Did you try doing that? This code should work:
[[File:SPRT Logo.jpg|thumb|My-caption-here]]
For more about using images, Wikipedia:Images gives a general explanation and links to lots more.

Whiteley Woods

[edit]

Hi, I am having trouble finding out exactly where Whiteley Woods begins and ends. I have started a discussion at Talk:Porter Valley Parks#Extent of Whiteley Woods. If you are able to help at all, I would be most grateful if you could follow the link and add your bit to the discussion. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 13:21, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
