March 2013[edit]

Hello, S.clouthier. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, please read our plain and simple conflict of interest guide.

Everyone must follow our conflict of interest (COI) and neutral point of view policies. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to accidentally add overly-flattering or overly-disparaging content. If you have a close connection to a subject, you are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject. But you must make sure that your edits are verified by reliable sources and are unbiased.

Here's a partial summary of our plain and simple conflict of interest guide:

  • Be transparent about your conflict of interest.
  • Do not edit articles about yourself, your business, or your competitors.
  • Post suggestions and sources on the article's talk page, or create a draft in your user space.
  • Your role is to summarize, inform and reference, not promote, whitewash, or sell.
  • If writing a draft, write without bias, as if you don't work for the company or personally know the subject.
  • Get us to review your draft.
  • Work with us and we'll work with you.

Please read the whole guide. Please see also Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, Wikipedia:Verifiability, and Wikipedia:Autobiography.

Your recent edits[edit]

Information.svg Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button Insert-signature.png or Button sig.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:11, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Gardner-White Furniture[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Gardner-White Furniture has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't seem to meet WP:ORG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Gardner-White Furniture. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Hello! I just wanted to stop by and offer my assistance. The article you created may have some issues and removing maintenance templates isn't going to help things. Notability is in question and if you'd like to work on that so that no one here can question the presence of the article, I'd be willing to help you but to be as clear as I can, working with others will get you what you want. Fighting them will not. OlYeller21Talktome 19:20, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

Repeatedly making Gardner-White Furniture edits that had to be undone[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Gardner-White Furniture, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 900mill (talkcontribs) 19:28, 29 March 2013 (UTC)
