WP:KARLSRUHER

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for updating various player articles. Per WP:KARLSRUHER, please don't pipe 1. FC Heidenheim. I've undone the piping at a few articles. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 20:04, 20 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Multiverse United 2, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Giulia and Street Fight. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:08, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Jay Turner-Cooke article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 11:50, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Eddie Nketiah. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Per #Updates. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:23, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Taiwo Awoniyi, you may be blocked from editing. Per #Updates. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:29, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Naouirou Ahamada. Per #Updates. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:39, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Brennan Johnson, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Per #Updates. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:40, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Updates

[edit]

Please wait until the match is over before updating the stats, thanks. Kante4 (talk) 20:56, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep this in mind. Doing it still is disruptive editing. Kante4 (talk) 21:17, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not update match stats (whether a player’s or a club’s or a league table etc.) until the player’s involvement in the match has finished / the match itself has finished. That means (especially, for example, if another goal is scored) that errors can be minimised. Many thanks. GiantSnowman 17:08, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wrestling Satsuma no Kuni requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. MrBauer24 (talk) 22:07, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I'm a bit puzzled here. First of all, this (now deleted) article was created on August 26, 2023 and is written as if the event - "It took place on August 29, 2023" had already occurred. Its sole reference was from 2006, "Updated: Feb 17, 2021", simply about what Professional wrestling is. There some mention in New Japan Pro-Wrestling fandom sites about a レスリング薩摩の国 (Resuringu Satsuma no Kuni) series of events, the first of which took place in 2021 and another that took place in April 2023. So, what's going on here? --Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 09:16, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm JMHamo. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Alex Iwobi, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. JMHamo (talk) 05:25, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Brennan Johnson, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. JMHamo (talk) 08:14, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wout Weghorst. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Per #Infobox timestamp. Mattythewhite (talk) 00:53, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Mattythewhite A longer block may be needed here, since the editor is still changing positions on articles without support by references as seen here the same day they recieved another final warning by GiantSnowMan. TylerBurden (talk) 10:23, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox timestamp

[edit]

Hello. When you update footballer stats, please can you set the timestamp (correct-as-of date/time) |club-update= to a date/time unambiguously after the last match included in the stats. Reason being, if you just use the date of the match, the reader can't tell whether the stats are correct before or after that match. The easy way is to use 5 tilde characters, |club-update=~~~~~, which the system will automatically convert to the current date/time. Thanks, Struway2 (talk) 21:14, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GiantSnowman 12:46, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked twice now for disruptive editing, including the repeated addition of unsolved content to articles about living people. You have been warned about this multiple times. If you block evade (like you did last time), or if you return and continue to edit disruptively, the block will become indefinite. GiantSnowman 12:46, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Chahil. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
