Romanization of lettering

[edit]

Hello Salih-rock, my name is Wesley Mouse, and I noticed you made some edits to Türkvizyon Song Contest 2014 in which you removed English lettering and replaced it with non-familiar Latin text (in edits like this one). In accordance to the Manual of Style guidance, MOS:FOREIGN any words that do not use the standard lettering that can be used easily via a standard English Qwerty keyboard, must be avoided. The Turkish alphabet use what is known as dotless I, this is a character that is not commonly used on the standard English keyboard. As this is English Wikipedia, we're to try and avoid uncommon characters, and use their English equivalent - which was why they were altered in the first place. I have therefore reverted your edits and restored the text back so that it uses the dotted I i. In future, it would be helpful if you followed such style guides and avoid any easily avoidable errors.
