Flashback to Wikipedia's past

Nostalgia is a link to what Wikipedia looked like back in 2001 when we had only 19,000 articles.

The English Wikipedia now has over 6,904,433 articles. (purge server to refresh number). The five-millionth article, Persoonia terminalis, about a rare shrub, was written by an editor in Australia just after midnight on November 1, 2015.

To view an archived version of Wikipedia between 2001 and now, see the Wayback Machine.

Information icon Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Kiara Advani—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Serols (talk) 18:04, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Italy -> Italian, Brazil -> Brazilian, etc...

[edit]

Hi, the edits you made have been reverted as they aren't necessary. It is consensus at WT:FOOTY that we display the nation as a noun (Italy) rather than as an adjective (Italian). Nehme1499 20:36, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just a reminder. Kante4 (talk) 09:39, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And one more reminder. Stop making these changes. Walter Görlitz (talk) 06:53, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
