Proposed deletion of 2009 Broomhill, Sheffield Shootings

[edit]

The article 2009 Broomhill, Sheffield Shootings has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnotable one time event

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. By SheffieldWikimapian It is notable, there was a HUGE FIRE at the school, so how COULD you DELETE IT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Provide sources in the article to the news coverage of this. It must be verified. Computerjoe's talk 12:37, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not‎, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 06:18, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated 2009 Broomhill, Sheffield Shootings, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2009 Broomhill, Sheffield Shootings. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 06:22, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with 2009 Broomhill, Sheffield Shootings. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 06:25, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Listing another school for deletion

[edit]

I noticed that you just posted, "Not very notable school, please delete." on the Westfield School (Sheffield) page. I think you might be fairly familiar with the process already, from what appears on your talk page, but you might want to take a look at the Articles for deletion page to refresh your memory. :) Banaticus (talk) 06:31, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good work, that's how it's done. :) Banaticus (talk) 06:43, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User page vandalism

[edit]

Constructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. Specifically, your edit to User:Collectonian may be offensive or unwelcome. In general it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing others' userpages without their permission. Instead, please bring the matter to their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so. Please refer to Wikipedia:User page for more information on User page etiquette. Thank you. Kuru talk 12:15, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Be civil

[edit]

SheffieldWikimapian,

Please ensure you remain civil on Wikipedia. Your response, and actions, on several AfDs strike me as rude and unproductive.

For example, saying 'GO ON THEN, DELETE IT! AS IF I CARE! DO IT THEN! OOOH, YOU'RE TOO SCARED! OH DEAR. JUST DO IT!' at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2009 Broomhill, Sheffield Shootings is just silly, could be seen as uncivil or even a personal attack.

Your nomination of Westfield School (Sheffield) for deletion could almost be seen as disrupting Wikipedia in order to make a point.

On another note, Charnock Hall Primary School isn't your article. Please read WP:OWN.

If I can help you, just let me know on User talk:Computerjoe. Computerjoe's talk 12:42, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Under Construction football stadiums in England

[edit]

I have proposed that Category:Under Construction football stadiums in England, which you created, should be converted to a list.
