[edit]Hello, I'm Chiswick Chap. An edit that you recently made to Asana seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Chiswick Chap (talk) 15:46, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
Shirish,
everything you've done on Wikipedia so far has been about yourself, or has been editing tests (or vandalism) on articles. If you have nothing better to do here, please stop. Chiswick Chap (talk) 15:51, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or write things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. We're sorry if this message has discouraged you from editing here, but the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you. Jac16888 Talk 17:12, 22 February 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Mate. Which bit of DON'T is hard for you to understand? This is an encyclopaedia with a specific aim, and that aim is not for your self-promotion. If you want to do self-promotion, then create your own web pages, or use your facebook account, not here. If you are unable to restrain yourself, then we can employ such means on your behalf. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 21:49, 24 June 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Shrish Deshpande
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:Shrish Deshpande requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Request reason:
I sincerely apologize to any master editors here for any vandalism that I have done. I joined Wikipedia on the thought of becoming an editor. My school elections are over so I don’t really need my user page anymore. You may continue to monitor my editing activity. I will not vandalize any pages. In fact, some of my friends have their own Wikipedia page like this which I can help you identify and delete. I fully support you and your actions and I regret my actions. I will continue to make grammatical edits on Wikipedia because that is what I did on my old account which I forgot it’s password. If you do believe that I don’t deserve editing Wikipedia, it’s all right. I support your thoughts and I too don’t like these kind of self promotion pages anymore after I saw what has happened. I don’t need a user page, so you can protect it or do something like that to prevent me from putting anything into it. If you agree that I should get my Wikipedia account back, I thank you very much. I hope you have a good day.
Decline reason:
This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:
- Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
- Read our guide to improving articles
- Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
- If you have trouble choosing an article to improve, see this index of articles needing improvement for ideas. Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:
- Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
- Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
- do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this:
...
); - do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this:

); - do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this:

); - do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this:
Foo stub
);
- do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this:
- Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this:
Article title
) the copied content but do not save yet; - Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "
Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution.
" - You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose:
reflist-talk
. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
- Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
- When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
- If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.
If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "
" to your talk page. Thank you. Yamla (talk) 10:49, 26 June 2019 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I have a doubt. I wanted to edit the page of Sangolli Rayanna but when I clicked on it it said I can’t. I have already familiarized myself with the basic rules today. How do I gain the trust of the Wikipedia community? Shrish Deshpande (talk) 11:24, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
- Due to the block, you cannot edit that page; if you follow the instructions above, they will explain how to copy that text to this page so you can edit it here. 331dot (talk) 12:07, 26 June 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
This is my second appeal. I fully understand the fact that I have done some vandalism. I will not vandalize any Wikipedia page henceforth. I have read the guide to appealing blocks and the basic rules and principles of Wikipedia. I fully understand that this is for building an encyclopedia and not for self promotion or becoming a free web hosting service. I could not edit any of the pages in the index of pages that needed editing. Please give me back my Wikipedia account. I hope that you will understand. I find many grammatical errors in wikipedia pages and I just want to edit them. Help me, Administrators, You’re my only hope. P.S.: Please don’t not unblock me because the last line of this was from Star Wars
Decline reason:
You have been given a means to demonstrate that you can make a significant, constructive contribution above. Please follow those instructions. If you are declining to make use of that process, please say so, but not using it will significantly reduce your chances of being unblocked. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 12:06, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
