About 1992 Tour...[edit]

Whose 1992 Tour is the article about? The article does not provide enough context for readers, so it could wind up being speedy deleted. —C.Fred (talk) 21:39, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You can go ahead and delete it, the format for the article wasn't laid out correctly, so just delete it.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fall U.S. Tour requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. BigPimpinBrah (talk) 02:29, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just an FYI, you might consider naming your articles with whose Fall US Tour it is. Part of the reason it is being considered for speedy deletion is the lack of a proper title. For instance take a look at how Metallica's tour pages are organized: here is their world tour for the St. Anger album: Madly in Anger with the World Tour. But a better idea instead of simply calling it Social Distortion's Fall US Tour, you might call it Social Distortion/(whoever the opening act was) (whatever year) US Tour. I can see you are trying to decently put together articles, as opposed to those who make pure nonsense. Also, don't forget to cite where the information is coming from by using <ref>(reference)</ref> and adding a section at the bottom ===References=== and adding {{Reflist}} below that heading. Shootmaster 44 (talk) 03:17, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just an hint, I noticed you are doing better, but when I said to call your page something, I didn't mean in the lede, I meant the page itself. Does Social Distortion not name their tours? If not, I would title the article Social Distortion 2012 U.S, Tour. If you need help, let me know on my talk page. By the way, it is possible to move pages to a different name if you need. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Winter Tour 2012 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Disambiguation link notification for April 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes Tour 2011, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Omni (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article 30 Years of Underground Rock 'n' Roll Tour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable concert tour fails both WP:GNG and WP:CONCERT TOUR that has been been unreferenced since it was created three and a half years ago and tagged as such for over a year.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
