tube challenge

I wish you had asked for my permission before changing the tube challenge page about my record of andy james i have a long standing dispute with wikipedia which i think they owe me an apology for as 3 times they quoted wrong references about my name!. when i go to change i get quoted crappy fucking guidelines about u technically allowed to print what u want but if u dont check them scources you are accountable to no one. This is unacceptable and when i try to change quoting ur own guidelines i get blocked from changing i please implore you to remove my name from wikipedia until i get apology from higher ups in wikipedia in fact i do not wish to be associated with the site i do have rights not to be!

I have already suggested this (odnwpow) owner does wish publish on wikipedia as a template for all people whom dont want to be named specifically on your site no problem with all the facts but people have rights i do i demand that apology from wikipedia before its published i can threaten legal action to remove if i so wish!. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.27.30.6 (talkcontribs) 18:36, 7 January 2016‎

Hello 92.27.30.6 Wikipedia is a synopsis of what is already openly published in reliable, public sources—in this case mostly Guinness World Records entries. Seeking to introduce a discrepancy between the existing public record and Wikipedia's summary of the public record will not be supported. If you, or anyone else, are aware of a discrepancy between the published record and Wikipedia's summary of the public record then we can collectively correct that: provide a URL of the public record/source material and the exact sentence on Wikipedia and it can be corrected. —Sladen (talk) 09:53, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

Again another editor missing the fucking point well done on ur incompetence Wikipedia three times quoted wrong sconces for this page I had the right to remove my name from these pages I want an apology from Wikipedia the fact that Wikipedia do not listen to the people is non acceptable I wish not to published until apology has been made..

timing

Well done for completely being a bark tube challenge page is a tucking mockery Wikipedia do not apologise and then sully my name I do not wish to be part of a corrupt organisation such as Wikipedia well done on your incompetence of not respecting my wishes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.117.229.158 (talk) 14:41, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Car, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tyre. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Bad Aibling rail accident

I note you changed the image, claiming the new one shows one of the trains involved. Do you have a reference for this? Is the other unit involved known yet? Mjroots (talk) 12:06, 9 February 2016 (UTC)

Hello Mjroots, I was doing my WP:OR/hunting. See Talk:Bad Aibling rail accident#Units. —Sladen (talk) 12:49, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
Mjroots, I've per-emptively hatted a bit of the discussion at Talk:Bad Aibling rail accident#Units. I don't mean to offend you, I just don't want further confusion to any visitors. Hopefully the six-car vs. three-car explanation in the main article covers it? (If not, could you suggest how it could be improved?). —Sladen (talk) 13:37, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
Yes, that's fine. What confused me was that they said only 2 of 3 data recorders had been recovered. Mjroots (talk) 13:51, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
Mjroots, interesting. You've found something I haven't yet; do you have a link/cite so that I/we can read too? —Sladen (talk) 13:52, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
Mjroots Ah[1]. —Sladen (talk) 13:55, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
(edit conflict) No link atm, but was reported on BBC 1 O'clock news. Maybe a video report at BBC News website has it? Mjroots (talk) 13:56, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
I've got the article watchlisted, if IPs become problematic I'll semi the article. Not necessary yet though. Mjroots (talk) 20:25, 9 February 2016 (UTC)

It might pay to go through the contributions LoudLizard (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has made to the article. It was this user who change the reference to helicopters from Austria being used with a reference which said nothing at all about helicopters! Mjroots (talk) 08:22, 10 February 2016 (UTC)

Mjroots, heads up about diff=704340425 again. —Sladen (talk) 21:06, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
Can you post the actual diff please? Mjroots (talk) 21:17, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

Flytoget

Hi. I will need to have another think about the intro para (still believe it could be improved!) -- but, as it's very late here, will write in more detail later. Just to say, for now, that there are only 3 trains per hour to/from Drammen, so have amended that part accordingly. -- Picapica (talk) 00:27, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

Picapica, thank you for the note. I have made some small corrections based on getting back closer to the WP:MOS. The text previous did say there were six trains per hour and that half of these continued to Drammen Station. Overall this change appears to have removed a contextual wiki leak. —Sladen (talk) 00:36, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

Plainist conversions

I caught your idea of converting lists with break tags to plainlists and added in AWB's to-do list. I think there are some guys other there already doing it. -- Magioladitis (talk) 09:03, 26 July 2016 (UTC)

On ORDINAL

About this one. It is a known issue T126945. -- Magioladitis (talk) 10:53, 26 July 2016 (UTC)

rev 12059 fixes this issue. -- Magioladitis (talk) 14:42, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

New AWB release soon

There will be a new AWB release soon. Probably in mid August depending on my free time. This will solve the problems in all AWB bots running around and not only for Yobot. -- Magioladitis (talk) 09:18, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

Ref punct problems

Would you be interesting to be fixing these problems? I just emailed and I can provide daily/weekly/monthly lists with these pages via Wmflabs server depending on your free time. It would be valuable if you could help. Thanks, Magioladitis (talk) 09:21, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

Magioladitis, yes, I would be happy to help fix ambiguous cases that require manual oversight. —Sladen (talk) 09:28, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

I hope Ladsgroup can provide this list for us. -- Magioladitis (talk) 09:29, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

insource:/\w+\.,(\{\{)|(\<ref)/ gives 69,990 pages. I am not sure if this is what you want. -- Magioladitis (talk) 17:16, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

This simpler version give 11,000 pages. -- Magioladitis (talk) 17:26, 30 July 2016 (UTC)

House of Cars listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect House of Cars. Since you had some involvement with the House of Cars redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. BDD (talk) 18:11, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

Per WP:BRD and WP:STATUSQUO, when edits are contested, do not simply restore them. Instead, seek to gain consensus for your edits on the article's talk page and note that, while discussion is underway, the contested edits should not be restored. --AussieLegend () 14:07, 30 December 2016 (UTC)

AussieLegend, see Special:Diff/757404630. —Sladen (talk) 14:10, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
I have, and you still need to gain consensus, which you haven't attempted to do at all in the last month, depite plenty of opportunity to do so. --AussieLegend () 14:18, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
