Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at User talk:Discospinster, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 20:50, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wait... what... why the hell can you delete what's in my sandbox?! T0TheBitterEnd (talk) 21:34, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've declined the request for speedy deletion. However, the article needs a massive overhaul to make clear that all the statistics are in-universe and not real, and that the character is totally fictional. —C.Fred (talk) 21:49, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Please could you advise on the steps necessary to make the article acceptable to be published? T0TheBitterEnd (talk) 22:28, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
First, the article needs to make clear that the subject is a fictional character from the video game. Second, the amount of detail about the character needs pared down. Third, the article needs expanded to include the critical commentary about the character; he needs to be written about from outside the video-game universe. Finally, it all has to be backed up by reliable sources. It isn't enough to show blog posts written about him; he has to have been covered in major works (magazines or newspapers). —C.Fred (talk) 00:55, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article Benedikt Šteppova has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article doesn't contain the actual information whether there was a footballer with the article header. The References provided by the author are related to another Czechoslovak footballer Vlastimil Kopecký who also played in the 1938 FIFA World Cup. There isn't any popular person with the title Benedikt Šteppova'

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
