Best. Christmas. Ever!

I posted snippet of review from an award winning movie critic about Best. Christmas. Ever! and it was removed for non-sensical reason.
No valid to reason to remove a review listed on Rotten Tomatoes from one of it's movie critics. Claiming a movie review isn't valid because it aired on a radio station is absurd.

February 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Joe Westerman, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 16:08, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Don't remove additional sources before the main source has updated in future[edit]

When you removed this source from Heaven (Niall Horan song), it was still required as the main Hot 100 chart history page had not updated yet. That's why it was there. Don't remove these sources in future as by doing so you are leaving information unsourced. Their inclusion is not some error and don't have to be "cleaned up" or removed. I remove them later in the day when the Billboard sources have updated anyway. Thank you. Ss112 02:42, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It also does not matter that "the charting information is on the song article". Information should be sourced on every article it is included on. This is not a valid reason for removal, so don't do this in future. Thank you. Ss112 02:44, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously? You reverted my edit. Exactly TWO MINUTES later you did exactly what I had done. Bit of a control freak aren’t you. Thurlow0391 (talk) 12:59, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your reasoning was not "the information is already in the header sources", which is what you should have said. Your reasoning was "the sources are on the song's article", which, as I said above several months ago, is not a valid reason for removing them. "The source is on an adjacent article" is only valid when we're talking about not needing to source the fact a single or an album was released when it has a separate article and we've linked to it. That doesn't apply to chart positions and other information. Please also avoid personal attacks per WP:PERSONAL. Thank you. Ss112 14:46, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The New York Post is deprecated and should not be used for WP:BLP] sourcing. OhNoitsJamie Talk 22:10, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Posting to wrong articles[edit]

Belinda Carlisle and Brandi Carlile are two different people. Please use caution when adding content to articles (or discographies) of either person.--☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 21:04, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I wasn't aware there were two singers called Belinda Carlisle/Carlile. You'd think the second one to come out would have used a stage name. Doh! Thurlow0391 (talk) 10:24, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Both given names and surnames are different, stage names are unnecessary.--☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 14:52, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Declan O'Connor moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Declan O'Connor, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 10:43, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free images[edit]

Please note that Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content. There is no indication that the copyright owner(s) of the album cover of Something on High has released said album cover under a free license, hence you cannot upload it to Commons. If you want to upload non-free content, you have to make sure it meets the Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria (official album cover art should meet this), and then upload it directly to Wikipedia, not Commons, with the appropriate non-free licensing template and rationale. You can use a tool like Wikipedia:File upload wizard to upload the image (select "Upload a non-free file"). Bennv123 (talk) 13:28, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If the image source does not explicitly state what license it is released under, you should always assume that the image is copyrighted and thus not free. This goes for any image you find on the internet. For example, there is no indication in the source that File:St Ivo Academy Main Block.jpg was released by its author/copyright holder ("Archant") under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license, which is what you uploaded it under. Again, if you want to upload non-free images, you need to select the "Upload a non-free file" option in Wikipedia:File upload wizard, not the "Upload your own or a freely licensed file" option. You might also want to check your talkpage on Wikimedia Commons as it is filled with copyright violation notices. Bennv123 (talk) 14:30, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

We do not need citations for track listings or release dates[edit]

Please avoid adding Apple Music and Spotify citations per WP:AFFILIATE. In case you were unaware, per MOS:ALBUM, we do not need to source the track listing—the album is the source for its own track listing—and we certainly don't need to cite Apple Music for its release date. Avoid adding these citations in future. They've been removed from the James Blunt article you recently added them to. Also, what Blunt had released in his career prior to making the album, unless it is about the beginning of its planning or recording stage, is not relevant to that album and has been removed. Finally, please learn what the midweek chart is. It is not a prediction. It is merely where the albums are charting at the middle of the week. It is not the OCC saying "this is where we think the albums will end up by the end of the week", so this wording you added is entirely incorrect. Ss112 16:34, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This edit asserting "Rebound" is a single has been reverted. There is no reliable source which says it is a single. All you've done is list the commercial listing which all promotional singles and countdown songs get on Spotify and applemusic. At the time of writing, all three deluxe edition bonus tracks (CGE with Latto, Rebound with Anuel AA, and CGE Bruno Martini mix) are available to buy as individual songs and stream. There is nothing special or specific about the listing for "Rebound" which suggests its a single. Even the title track of the album was released to spotify and apple music but we're not claiming that's a single. Have patience, Lopez might end up promoting it as a single later but this moment in time, there nothing from her directly, her label or anything else to suggest we're in second single territory, especially as CGE is actually rising up the airplay charts. >> Lil-unique1 (talk) — 17:39, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your message. You are, of course, correct. I should have known given she released the title track as just a promo. Thanks again. Noted. Thurlow0391 (talk) 14:41, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please add citations when you add singles[edit]

Please do not add unsourced information to Wikipedia—adding singles like this require a source. You have been here long enough to know about our most basic policy, WP:V. The other singles are at least sourced by the fact that they charted. If you do provide a source, please do not add an Apple Music or Spotify citation per WP:AFFILIATE. Please find a news source.
