findagrave.com

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please note that discussions at the reliable sources noticeboard have held that the web site findagrave.com is not a reliable source for citations in articles. You might also consider that including links to such pages at certain articles may be a less than stellar idea for various reasons other than reliability. Sometimes less is more: it's better not to include a date of birth unless it can be verified using an impeccable source. Rivertorch (talk) 17:27, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

{Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Suicide of Rehtaeh Parsons. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Rivertorch (talk) 06:28, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Suicide of Rehtaeh Parsons, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Fiddle Faddle 06:39, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Suicide of Audrie Pott. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Fiddle Faddle 06:42, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Rivertorch (talk) 06:03, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is getting pointless. You are editing against consensus, against all the references that you have been given to show that you are wrong. Youiy have been given multiple chances to discuss matters but do not engage in discussion. Fiddle Faddle 07:38, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Suicide of Rehtaeh Parsons. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Fiddle Faddle 07:54, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Suicide of Audrie Pott, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Fiddle Faddle 08:53, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

ANEW

[edit]

I am closing the report filed against you at WP:ANEW regarding your edit warring at Suicide of Audrie Pott and at Suicide of Rehtaeh Parsons as warned. The only reason I'm not blocking you is you haven't reverted in the last couple of days. However, if you do revert again, you may be blocked without notice.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:47, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
