Placement of bird photos[edit]

Hi TonyCastro, could you please make sure that when you place images on bird pages, you don't overthrow the layout? In general, take care that images do not display before or to the left of the contents box, as happened in this [1] edit. In such a case, move the image lower so that it displays below, as in this edit [2]. This is not an issue if there is no contents box, as e.g. in Bluish flowerpiercer. - Also please take note when your images just make the article look untidy, as here [3] - we don't want a page of haphazardly pasted images all over the place. In this specific case, there were just too many images for the tiny article to accommodate, and I replaced two low-quality ones with your new ones, including the speciesbox image. This, BTW, is something you also may consider: as your photos generally seem to be of high quality, check whether you can replace a worse image, rather than adding another one to the page.

It would be good if you could have a look at your ecent additions to make sure they generally comply with these guidelines. Cheers! --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 08:31, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Photo placement[edit]

Hey, in your recent addition to silver-throated tanager, you seem to have added the photo to the range map caption parameter in the infobox. I've moved it to the body now, but just thought I'd drop a heads-up so you can avoid doing this in the future. Thanks for the photos btw, images of juveniles are always much appreciated!
