Pakistan vs Sri Lanka
[edit]Hi. Ticket prices are trivial and means nothing to anyone who doesn't know how much a ticket would normally cost. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 15:59, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Lugnuts: Alright. But is there a possibility of having an article along the lines of Efforts for return of International cricket to Pakistan documenting the timeline of events in this regard where this trivia might make much more of a sense or just a section in History of cricket in Pakistan from 2001 would suffice to document the timeline? --Vegan Gypsy (talk) 16:12, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- Hmmm, the timeline idea sounds like a good one. The "history of" article should ideally stop when full member teams first returned to Pakistan (was it Zimbabwe in 2015?) and then an article created from that point onwards. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 16:15, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Lugnuts: Any such article should also document efforts by Mohammad Ali Shah (surgeon) who brought a International World XI to Pakistan in 2012. If we can settle on an appropriate title, as proposer I would like to do the honors of starting the article & then you could take on from there. We could also try & get the article ready in time to take a shot at ITNC. --Vegan Gypsy (talk) 16:42, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- OK, maybe rename History of cricket in Pakistan from 2001 to History of cricket in Pakistan from 2001 to 2011 and then start this from History of cricket in Pakistan from 2012? The title can be more fluid and used as a place-holder. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:10, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- Well, Cricket in Pakistan tells us we have an article for history of cricket from Pakistan's creation in 1947 to its breakup in 1970/71. The second covers the history from 1971 and abruptly ends in 1985 for unknown reasons. The third takes on from there & ends at the turn of the century. Lets keep the fourth confined to the 2001-2010 decade as I feel 2011 would be a better base year because there was essentially no cricket in Pakistan after the 2009 attack, thus I suggest History of cricket in Pakistan from 2011. What do you say? --Vegan Gypsy (talk) 17:49, 7 December 2019 (UTC)

2020 in Pakistan moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 2020 in Pakistan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. buidhe 01:58, 11 January 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Cold waves in Pakistan
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Cold waves in Pakistan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
