Pidgeon Park (Birmingham)
[edit]The article was deleted. You could talk to User:Bucketsofg about the deletion, or take it to Wikipedia:Deletion review, if you're so inclined. -- Scientizzle 00:06, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Regarding Pigeon Park. The article was nominated for deletion on the grounds that it was insufficiently notable for inclusion. I agreed with that assessment and also judged that its actually presentation was unencyclopedic. If you disagree, you can take your case to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Deletion_review. Image copyright problem with Image:Pidgeonpark.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Pidgeonpark.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

NowCommons: File:Jamesmilner09.jpg
[edit]File:Jamesmilner09.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Jamesmilner09.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Jamesmilner09.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 07:59, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Carson Yeung
[edit]Hello. The footybio infobox doesn't really apply to Yeung, so I've formatted your image just on its own. You might want to add a short caption to say when/where it was taken, just add your wording after a "|" character like [[Image:carsonyeung.png|thumb|upright|180px|caption text goes here]]

File permission problem with File:Jennyandnick.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Jennyandnick.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Wadeelliottvsantwerp.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Wadeelliottvsantwerp.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Stefan2 (talk) 21:56, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Darren Randolph
[edit]Hello. I checked the club site before undoing your edit to the BCFC squad section, and as there was nothing about Randolph there at the time I checked (they must have updated very shortly afterwards), I thought the transfer was still media talk. Should have known better, as you're not the sort of editor to go on speculation. Sorry, Struway2 (talk) 17:26, 14 May 2013 (UTC)
No problem Struway2! Will bcfc (talk) 14:28, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Interesting to see there's three of us active on various BCFC articles. I was the one who made Fahey's article a GA, and I've got Doyle's sat at the GA nom screen, waiting for a review. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 16:47, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 25
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tom Adeyemi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lee Clark (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Squad ordering
[edit]Hello. There are 2 main reasons I've usually left them with the previous season's squad numbers. One is that's what the club site tends to do, so the numbers are sourced, so long as we include a note saying they're last year's. The second, and IMO stronger, reason is that unless there's a massive turnover of players, most of them tend not to change, so it just makes more work to change them to a new order and then change them back to something that quite closely resembles what they were changed from in the first place. Not worth reverting, though.
Incidentally, did you ever take any photos of Pablo Ibáñez? The only one in his article is from 2007 in Atlético Madrid kit, which is good, but something more recent in addition to that one would be better. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 12:06, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
- I think there has been a large turnover of players, when all is said and done; I personally don't mind either way of doing things. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 12:51, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for the explanation Struway! I do agree with Luke, there has been a large turnover of players, with over a third of the new squad list without assigned numbers and only 3 players taking up single digit shirt numbers! So that's why it made sense to do it. The numbers - I anticipate - will be vastly different for the coming season. With regard to Pablo Ibáñez, I don't have any decent pictures of him unfortunately. He wasn't signed in time for the 2011-12 pre-season and I recall he wasn't involved in the pre-season friendly last year, unfortunately. I do plan to take my DSLR to some pre-season games in the next month, so hopefully updated images of all players in the squad by the start of the Championship season! Will bcfc (talk) 13:53, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
- Pity about Pablo, although I thought you probably hadn't or you'd have added it by now. Won't bother uploading my pretty average pics of Arthur and Higgins yet then. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:24, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
Hello again. Just to let you know I mentioned your name at WT:FOOTY#Squad numbers, where the question of removing squad numbers or not had been raised by another editor. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 12:20, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
Adding references
[edit]When you add references, can you please ensure you don't just leave the bare link, but actually fill in the valid parameters of a {{cite web}} template? It's particularly problematic when you don't fill in the parameters with a GA, like Colin Doyle. Thank you. Lukeno94 (tell Luke off here) 11:37, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
