Image release[edit]

Hi. you recently uploaded File:Nour Al Hassan.jpg. This looks like a promotional photograph. Unless you are a photographer, it is very unlikely that you own the fully copyright to this image. Can you please clarify this ? —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 14:03, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi TheDJ,
Thanks for your message. I wasn't sure what to add as the photo I had wasn't great, so I reached out to her company and this is what they supplied. I'll delete it and request a different one.
Thanks Wwat2023 (talk) 16:01, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But your upload is claiming that you took the images, which you didn't. And even if you got permission to USE an image from the photographer (which is generally NOT the subject or the agency of the subject), that permission is not enough to make it an acceptable image on Wikipedia. We need a license that give full rights, including commercial rights. I encourage you to read Commons Licensing introductionTheDJ (talkcontribs) 11:11, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
