We'll get to that stuff, but you are blocked for sock puppetry and will need to speak to that. 331dot (talk) 10:49, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock Discussion[edit]

@331dot, as you mentioned in response, we need to speak to that. My name is Mark. So how can we start this discussion? To be honest i`m a little bit tired, trying to catch someone related to Wikipedia and receive relevant answer to my questions, or some feedback refer my account block. I`d appreciate if you could share the links or credentials in order to start discussion about my account block, and my last article. Youtr21 (talk) 11:13, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You just need to make a new unblock request where you discuss the sock puppetry, or explain why it isn't sock puppetry. There is no deadline for this, it doesn't need to be done quickly. I woukd suggest reading the unblock appeals guide, as well as WP:SOCK. 331dot (talk) 13:54, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I get into details of [[1]] article. According to context of the article, i was blocked for publishing article with the same name as other user made. Partially it is correct. Let me explain the situation: 1) I created user Markl1n (it`s shortened version of my name and surname - Mark Lindt) to publish article about Youtrade ECSA. My first article was really raw, because it was my first experience, so i was blocked. 2) I found more details and rules, how to write wikipedia article and decided to create new account. The idea of creating Youtr21 account is explained both by saving time (cause i didn`t know how to unblock account or that it influence on publishing next articles and so on) and by creating separate account, where i will publish only article about Youtrade ECSA (just a best practise for every engineer person. Separate credentials, separate account for specific need). Currently i understand that it can be defined as sockpuppetry and going to proceed working on Youtr21 account. In case i need to request some appeal to delete my previous account, please note me in next message. 3) Beside that reason, i want to clarify my article block reason (promotional actions). Because second version of my article include only side view and any promotional text. The summary of the article is events where company took part, awards it has. About restructurization, changing head director, some financial statistics. New version also include references, according to Wikipedia requirements. What i want to say, that i`m not really understand how i can improve my article to get it validated? Regarding events, that pretty all about the company. Regarding history, it`s pretty all, too. I believe it`s not necessary to describe who was hired or fired during that term. Financial statistics has links to document. It would be really welly to get some relevant details what to improve. Thank you, and appreciate your response. Youtr21 (talk) 09:16, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Absolutely ludicrous to falsely claim engineering best practice is separate credentials and a separate account for each specific need, in violation of website policies. Yamla (talk) 13:41, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock request #2 answer[edit]

@Yamla Thank you for your response, but I`m a little bit confused. 1) First things first, it`s really interesting to hear from administrator, that keep separate accounts for specific need is not a part of security policy. I worked as system administrator, system engineer, DevOps engineer and even as a web developer for a short term, but I believe you were not unsubstantiated, so please provide me source, where it`s recommended to manage several projects from one recovery point. 1.1) I'd like to point out, that in my request I mentioned, that it was one of the reasons, why I didn`t keep trying to do something with my first account. Despite logically meaning security policy here, what is the problem for creating new account for the same purpose? Let me give an example how i can see this situation: When I go to the ATM point, paste my card to the ATM, but can`t cash out money, what will I do next? As per my point of view I can use second ATM nearby, which will successfully cash out my money. I`m not trying to fix ATM. 2) Secondly, I wish to see some feedback refer 3-rd party of my unblock request. From time to time, each administrator or freelance helpdesk representative pass through this question. Looking forward to your answer! Youtr21 (talk) 14:50, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla, appreciate your feedback refer my last answer. As I mentioned, I`m totally confused why you find "keep separate accounts for specific need is not a part of security policy" and ludicrous. Hope you will provide some extra details on your answer. Unblock Continue #2[edit]

I`m writing to a request account unblock. During previous disscussion I managed to understand what is the main reason of my block. However i don`t have any promotional goals. As i described to previous admin, i`ve created second account because was not really into Wikipedia account policies. However now i understand what was wrong and ready to improve my article. Youtr21 (talk) 08:31, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have looked at the drafts you created. To claim that you "don't have any promotional goals" is absurd: both versions were unambiguous pieces of marketing copy. If you are interested in starting to contribute to Wikipedia in a neutral way, about subjects other than your business, then you are welcome to post another unblock request. However, in view of the fact that you are apparently unable to see the promotional nature of your own editing, I very much doubt that any administrator will unblock you in order to allow you to return to writing about your business.
