Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Zytereditor, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was User:Zytereditor/sandbox, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 🎄 20:33, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Zytereditor. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to User:Zytereditor/sandbox, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Zytereditor. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Zytereditor|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message.

You MUST disclose paid editing. You are WISE to treat editing on behalf of others as if it were paid editing even if it is not.

If you have ANY connection to the company Zyter or are editing on behalf or at the direction of someone who does, you should edit as if you are a paid editor.

If you do not, then your username is deceptive and you need to change it. Please read WP:Username policy and WP:Changing username for details.

In any case, you have a clear conflict of interest.

By the way, thank you for your message on User talk:Tmmonir explaining that you are editing at the request of someone else but are not paid.[1] davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 🎄 20:39, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Avoid drafts that sound like ads, they will be deleted

[edit]

Another editor's attempts to write about the company Zyter were deleted because the sounded like ads. Your sandbox, User:Zytereditor/sandbox, also qualifies for deletion under the speedy deletion of spam criteria. I highly recommend replacing it with a generic sandbox for now. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 🎄 20:41, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You should put a filled-out version of this on the talk page of any draft you compose related to this topic, and on the talk page of any article which you request an edit of if it is related to this topic. It goes in the top section of the talk page, below any "WikiProject" templates. See Template:Connected contributor (paid) for details. See Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Connected_contributor_(paid) for a list of article talk pages that use (transclude) this template. I recommend putting {{paid}} on your user page, User:Zytereditor. Instructions for that template can be found at Template:Paid. Examples of user pages that use it can be found at Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Paid - look for page names that start with User: and which have the word (transclusion) after the name of the user. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 15:02, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Followup: {{paid}} needs parameters. See the examples in Template:Paid for details. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 17:46, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Hammersoft. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sanjay Govil (2nd nomination). Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Hammersoft (talk) 12:22, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I know you've attempted to make paid statements and then removed them [2][3]. With that in mind, we need to be clear as to the situation. Thus, I'm placing the following notice...

Hello Monir1975. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. --Hammersoft (talk) 12:17, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Hammersoft, Niether directly or indirectly, I am not expecting any compensation, the reason why I removed "paid" tag as its bothered me much. Previusly, I added "paid" tag since it was recommneded an earlier state and thought, writing article would treat as paid as who will know it free. I would appreciate, if you could poit me out,

how can I be a free/independent editor, how can I make you belief this as free and don't want to call myself as paid editor. I have been working on this quite a while to write Draft:Zyter as neutral point of view and let me know if I can proceed further.Monir1975 (talk) 13:15, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am not going to mark the {{Help me-helped}} tag as answered, as I think it might do to have another set of eyes on this. What I see is this; you've been here for a month and a half. You've made 177 edits. To date, near as I can tell, every single one of your edits has been trying to get an article about Zyter or Sanjay Govil published. This is the very definition of a Wikipedia:Single-purpose account, and calls into question your reason for being here. Wikipedia is not a means of promotion, and you need to read carefully and follow our conflict of interest guideline. I am also still very concerned about your statement here. Having a co-worker ask you to do something strikes me as a task being done for pay. There is a muddled picture here about your reason for being here and whether you are attempting to promote this person and company. My response to you here still holds true. --Hammersoft (talk) 14:29, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Hammersoft, Alright, not helping me here. Please just delete my account. No longer going to edit this anymore. Thank you! appreciated your response. Monir1975 (talk) 14:46, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

By the way Sanjay Govil that you mentioned which had been requested by me to delete and its deleted. There will not be any editing from me about that person. Also how can I revoke this statement "here" and get rid of muddled picture area???

Monir1975 (talk) 15:51, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • You aren't required to not contribute here on things with which you have a conflict of interest. Editing drafts and talk pages with regards to such subjects is fine, which is what you have been doing. If you want people to have more faith in your editing here as being in support of the project rather than in support of Zyter, then you should feel free to edit in subject areas where you don't have a conflict of interest, and are genuinely interested in aiding the project. Your contributions would be most welcome. --Hammersoft (talk) 16:43, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
