WWE Evolution is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event and WWE Network event, produced by WWE for their Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and NXT UK brands. It will take place on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in Uniondale, New York.[1] It will be the first pay-per-view in WWE history to be comprised entirely of women's matches.
All of WWE's women's championships will be defended at the event. It will also feature the finals of the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament. The event was announced on the July 23, 2018 edition of Raw.[2]
Storylines
The card will comprise of matches resulting from scripted storylines, with results predetermined by WWE's writers on the Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and NXT UK brands.[3][4][5] Storylines will be produced on WWE's weekly television shows, Monday Night Raw, SmackDown Live, WWE NXT, and NXT UK.[6]
