Wagner Lamounier is a former guitarist and vocalist of Brazilian death metal (at that time) band Sepultura, but most famous for having led the thrash/death/black metal band Sarcófago during the 1980s and part of the 1990's.
Life and career
Lamounier played briefly with Sepultura during the early part of the band's career. Ten years after leaving the band, he revealed personal information about his former bandmates. In response, Sepultura's former frontman, now with Soulfly, Max Cavalera wrote a song called Bumbklatt about him. The polyedric Wagner Lamounier is currently a professor of economic science and applied statistic at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
