  • Support: Looks like the album and all singles, including the fifth from the "deluxe" version, with appropriate categories all contained in a supercategory and connected by a navbox, similar to other album nominations. Good work! -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 15:40, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    • Hi The Ultimate Boss, yes I would think so, I hadn't seen Panini's support from a couple of days ago. I will do so tomorrow unless Sturm or Gamer get to it before me (the delay is that it takes quite a bit of page/category creation that has to be done manually, which I don't have time for right now.) Aza24 (talk) 07:29, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • In light of the comment below, promotion will have to be delayed until it is appropriately addressed. Aza24 (talk) 00:39, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Comment I would advise the removal of CelebMix as it doesn't strike as a reliable source on "Break My Heart Again". It has been disputed on several discussions on wiki. I also have doubts regarding "Our Culture Mag", on Bllod Harmony it can be removed from the album and replaced by Hot Press, Rolling Stone or Uproxx. NME also supports Finneas stamente. The same website is also present on "Break My Heart Again". After these changes I will support. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 13:27, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

          • @WP:FTC coordinators: , it looks like Aza24 does not want to respond. So is there anyway this can get promoted since MarioSoulTruthFan supports it now? The Ultimate Boss (talk) 21:03, 6 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
            • Hi The Ultimate Boss, please be patient. See the instructions: “[the director and delegates] determine the timing of the process for each nomination”, you do not. Everytime I log onto WP, I have 4-5 pints or alerts; you have pinged me 4 times, so it is not unreasonable to expect some to get lost in the mix. As I said earlier, promoting and FT/GT involves a lot of manual work (there is no bot to do so) so it is not as easy as FAC where they put one template and update 1–2 page(s). Your sly comments do not help the process; if you want others to help you, I would advise you to avoid such remarks. I’m out of the house typing on my phone right now (and will promote later, unless Gamer or Sturm get to it before me) Aza24 (talk) 22:38, 6 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Paper Mario[edit]

Paper Mario is a video game sub-series of role-playing and action-adventure games, developed by Intelligent Systems and produced by Nintendo as part of the larger Mario franchise. The games follow a paper cutout version of Mario, sometimes aided by other allies, on a quest to defeat the antagonist, primarily Bowser. The first game, Paper Mario, was released on the Nintendo 64 in 2000.

All articles satisfy WP:GT? criteria. Despite this being taken down yesterday, I looked over the last two articles I had left and they were in good condition, so... I'm back a little early. Paper Mario is currently at FAC, but according to the criteria, it does not affect this candidate from being a good topic. I will be claiming points for this at the WikiCup, but only taking credit for all articles except Paper Mario (video game) as it was in good condition before I showed up.

Thanks to the following editors for helping to guide me through the steps towards the promotion of all of the articles, as well as the top contributors of the articles. Special thanks to PresN, Alexandra IDV, and czar specifically. Panini🥪 15:32, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: I'll just note again that it seems to me as though the topic probably ought to include Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, a seventh game listed in the main article's "Release timeline" and included in Category:Paper Mario, but I get the argument that it's not part of the "main" series of games, and I won't oppose over it. Excellent work on these articles! -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 17:55, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - Major props to Panini! for a job well done. You deserve a well-earned rest! Roberth Martinez (talk) 18:10, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - I wouldn't count Paper Jam, because it uses Mario & Luigi-style gameplay and exploration. Good work! Scrooge200 (talk) 18:46, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It also has Mario & Luigi in the title meaning it’s clearly part of they series even though Paper Mario characters appear.--70.27.244.104 (talk) 20:44, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@WP:FTC coordinators: After ten days, I believe the support is unanimous. Panini🥪 00:08, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Panini!, I was actually waiting to see if more users would clearly evaluate the criteria in their comments. However, I've looked through myself and see no issues. Expect promotion shortly; in the future, please let the director and delegates determine the timing of the nomination. Best - Aza24 (talk) 00:29, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Walt Whitman and Abraham Lincoln[edit]

Walt Whitman and Abraham Lincoln never met, but Whitman, an American poet, greatly admired Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, and was deeply affected upon his assassination, writing several poems as elegies—notably "Hush'd Be the Camps To-Day", "O Captain! My Captain!", "When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom'd", and "This Dust Was Once the Man"—and giving a series of lectures on Lincoln.

These six articles cover Walt Whitman's relationship (or lack thereof) with Abraham Lincoln. The grouping is comprehensive (all poems Whitman wrote on Lincoln and the lectures he gave and the overarching article), well-defined (as defined in Whitman's own "Memories of President Lincoln" cluster, as well as two books and a number of journal/news articles) and all articles are GA or above. I brought five of the six to GA/FA in the past six months or so, and did some cleanup work on "Lilacs" to ensure it meets the modern GA status. Whitman and Lincoln are both GAs, but I don't think they fit in the scope of this topic. I'm incredibly grateful to all those who have helped me on the way, and I'd welcome any comments. • Support. Eddie did a thorough job on this. He's taken a really unique topic and improved our Whitman coverage massively. This topic is in focus, well-developed, and judiciously supported. — ImaginesTigers (talk) 16:41, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Support: What a neat idea for a topic! I think the scope makes sense, but I feel the need to point out that GT criterion 1(c) says that all the articles should be "linked together, preferably using a template, and share a common category or super-category." They're all in the navbox Template:Walt Whitman (and I've added that template to the main article), but the template isn't actually focused on this topic, and there's no single category that unites the articles. I also note that the lead sections of the poem articles don't link to Walt Whitman and Abraham Lincoln, which, again, is a bit irregular if they all belong in a topic together. We are often flexible about the template and category requirements with e.g. music album topics, and I think the scope is clear enough to probably justify such flexibility here, but I just want to note these issues. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 18:08, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers, that covers my concerns; I don't think there's a need for a navbox dedicated to this idea. Great work! -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 20:20, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kids See Ghosts (album)[edit]

I am nominating the album Kids See Ghosts by the duo of the same name to become a good topic, after the main article has only seen improvements from me following on from its GA pass in September 2019. Since then, all of the song articles were brought to GA status in the past year and there was stability issues with "Feel the Love" and "Fire" receiving AFD noms, but those were closed as keep so I decided to create the nomination thereafter. Kids See Ghosts was a widespread critical success, while the songs received mostly positive reception too despite no single releases! --K. Peake 14:45, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support Comment: not sure if Hypebeast is a reliable source, as seen in "Feel the Love", "Fire", "4th Dimension" and on the album article. Daily News → Los Angeles Daily News (so there is no confusion with others), is DatNewCudi a fan site or something in that vein? as seen in "Cudi Montage". Central Sauce present on "Reborn" and on the album article seems not reliable. The album article as other dubious source, "Earbuddy". I can't support with this many concerns. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 00:35, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • MarioSoulTruthFan I have altered the Daily News citations to how you requested, as well as removing Earbuddy from the album article. As for Hypebeast, the non fashion and culture articles like the ones cited don't have issues with reliability as far as I'm aware (the article was not actually deleted because the source was unreliable), DatNewCudi was a site dedicated to giving updates on Kid Cudi , rather than a fan site like KanyeToThe. Furthermore, the about page for Central Sauce explains they have creators showcase content who are "writers, data analysts, videographers, and creatives of all kinds from around the world". It further says they are no "egotistical music critics or 'hit pieces' on [the site]" and they create content for artists they're passionate about. You can tell the dedicated and in-depth writing from those who are not egotistical or provide sensational news should be reliable. --K. Peake 10:48, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding DatNewCudim so it is not an official website, who ever wrote that based him/her self on youtube clips to give the info used on the article. On top of that, that information doesn't contribute much to the article, seems a bit out of place as it is just making a connection between Cudi Montage and Cudi and Dot da Genius making a cover of another Nirvana song, which was also a cover of folk song on the following year. A note on the writer of the Central Souce article is that he is an "hip-hop enthusiast" [1]. It states "create content for artists they're passionate about", so only artistst they care about so it could be quite bias. I'm fine with Hypebeast, they don't make controversial statments regarding the album or its artwork. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:44, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
MarioSoulTruthFan I have now removed the unofficial website and accompanying info, but Central Source does not classify as bias when it is not used for any reception info. --K. Peake 12:00, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is making statements on the lyrics and compostion of the song. On their "about us" page it was awarded "Best Hip Hop Blog". It is a blog and there seems not to be editorial overshight, the founder is a web disigner. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 13:06, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Delegate comment @MarioSoulTruthFan: how's this looking? @Kyle Peake: any comment on Mario's continued concerns with Central Sauce? Are you able to find an alternative source or prove the work's reliability further? Aza24 (talk) 09:00, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I do not believe the source is unreliable because of the award when things are often awarded as what they don't actually classify as, meaning the site is not really a blog. Also, I don't see how the founder being a web designer makes it unreliable when there is a proper team of staff. --K. Peake 09:07, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Aza24 and Kyle Peake The "proper team of staff" are "a collective content platform where real hip hop fans..." 1. There seems to be an Editor-in-Chief, who is also a founder, Carter Scott, which seems to be mowehere else on the web, he goes by Carter Fowler on the website on twitter he goes by "Carter_S_Fowler". The problem is that the editor-in-chief is a web disigner and not someone with journalism background 2. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 12:06, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Aza24 and MarioSoulTruthFan, I have now removed the bad source from both of the articles. For the latter of you two specifically, do you now support this nom? --K. Peake 17:20, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Okay well Mario has left us without their final verdict but their concerns seem appropriately addressed. Regardless, the final objection alone would likely not be enough to outweigh the support of others, but it is certainly prefferable that it was addressed. - Closed with a consensus to promote to good topic Aza24 (talk) 21:37, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Aza24 Thank you for closing with the consensus; this now marks my third GT! I have had experience seeing MarioSoulTruthFan's comments in the past and I know that if the user no longer objects, they cross out the comments and mention support. --K. Peake 09:40, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
