Please to join us for an inclusive and fun one-day event. We are planning to bring together diverse communities to create and work on Wikipedia articles related to global migration.
This event is hosted by the Global Studies team at the University of Texas at Austin and is open to the community.

- Please bring a laptop if possible. There will be a limited number of computers available.
What to expect
[edit]No Wikipedia editing experience is necessary. If you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia, you can get started with this this training module. Editing "Cheat Sheets" will be available during the event and friendly volunteers will be on hand to help answer your editing questions. Editors, with experience in issues pertaining to migration, are particularly encouraged to attend.
We plan to offer "Getting Started" tutorials each hour: the first will be at 12:15 pm, and we'll repeat the tutorial at 1:15 pm.
