Template to flag articles related to perpetual motion as pseudoscience. It is entirely unnecessary to flag things as pseudoscience. -Amarkov blahedits 23:10, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. Most Wikipedians will agree that this template contains weasel words. We also don't generally use templates to declare articles to be about subjects that a particular group of people disapprove of. What's next? "This article documents an aspect of Microsoft Windows, an operating system that many Linux users disapprove of"? -/- Warren 01:08, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think it is OK to delete it, but for a different reason than above. The reason I see is that it isn't used on any article, according to "what links here"; just some talk pages, etc. It has been around for more than a year but hasn't been applied to any articles on perpetual motion machines, except in a talk page. Bubba73 (talk), 02:30, 17 January 2007 (UTC) Added: well it is used on talk pages of two minor articles about perpetual motion machines. Bubba73 (talk), 02:32, 17 January 2007 (UTC) But it is little-used, and the PPM infobox (below) is better and replaces it. Bubba73 (talk), 21:22, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. It used to be more widely used (including in articles), but it was replaced by a somewhat more circumspect (and less visually offensive) PMM infobox: Template:Perpetual motion machine.--ragesoss 02:57, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delete - just a disclaimer template by another name ... speaking of which, if this template is kept, it probably needs a new name. "Perp", to most people, refers to a criminal. So the name of this template is rather confusing. --BigDT 21:14, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Template:Segway Geeks Recruitment (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
I also nominate the redirects Wikipedia:Segway Geeks Recruitment, TEMP:SGR, and TP:SGR for deletion. There is no point in keeping this template since the project Segway Geeks is now nonexistent (per discussion at WP:MFD). Moreover, the template is used on only one user talk page. —S.D. ¿п? 01:27, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

- can't we speedy this? ~Crazytales (talk) 22:07, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- Comment: Speedy deletion should only be done with templates that clearly violate Wikipedia policy. Otherwise, due process is good. :-) -/- Warren 01:13, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Delete per my nomination statement on Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Segway Geeks, and per above opinions. --Deskana (request backup) 16:01, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
