Template:Growth of solar PV[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep for now. I personally agree that if graphs are not making an imminent comeback, it does not make a ton of sense to keep graph templates around. However, the consensus here is to keep this graph on the off chance that they do. My suggestion would be to start a larger discussion about graph templates as a whole, as clearly if they do fix the graph situation any deleted graphs will be immediately restored with no prejudice.   • Keep and add {{transclusionless}} to the documentation. It is difficult to know whether mw:Extension:Graph/Plans will go anywhere, but this template has a clear use once there is some way to generate graphs again. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:31, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

    I'm pretty sure that they decided they don't want a "graphs aren't working" notice in the articles that were using this template, so it has been removed temporarily until graphs are fixed. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:03, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. obviously the template is used in hundreds of articles, so either this is nonsense or it is vandalism. But surely the comment direct in front of me is clearly wrong.     @Matthiasb: This template is used within 256 other templates and those are transcluded to the hundreds of articles you mention. It serves absolutely no purpose anymore since its only content is within the noinclude tags which means it does absolutely nothing. It appears to have been made obsolete back in 2023. Unnecessary template that clutters up pages, and is also misleading, because the templates linked aren't specific to 2024 squads. We have separate templates for all 5 teams, we don't need a combined template, as this means that every article has 5 templates linked on it instead of the 1 that is needed in most cases.
