Welcome to the United States Government Agencies Wikipedia Project. This project was created to help improve the quality of articles about Agencies of the United State Government. If you have any questions or would like to get involved, add youself to the participant list, and post a note on the Talk Page.

Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to United States Government Agencies. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list there.

  • Why it's important
  • The purpose it serves

Goals

This is a very expansive project, see the list of government agencies [List of All Government Agencies] Our goal is not time oriented or creating a small stub for each agency. The goal of the project is to create high quality, useful articles on Government Agencies.

Adopt an Agency

Each month, a new government agencies (EX. Department of Defense) will be selected. The group will focus on reviewing and editing the selected. However, users may still choose to work on whatever government articles they prefer.
