Flags of Governors of the U.S. States
The flags of governors of the U.S. states are personal flags (properly called a "standard") of the governor of each state that has such a flag. This is similar in concept to the standards of the President and Vice President of the United States.
Sixteen states have a standard for their governor, as well as Puerto Rico, a United States commonwealth. Most of these designs are either based upon the state flag or state seal/coat of arms.
