Northside Elementary School is a public school in DeSoto, Texas (USA). It is part of the DeSoto Independent School District and is located at 525 Ray Street. The school serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through five that reside in the north central portion of DeSoto ISD.
The school was built in 1970 and expanded in early 1973. Prior to its construction, district leaders decided that Northside would be an "open concept" campus after visiting Pope Elementary in Arlington ISD. This lasted until the 1991-1992 school year, when the classrooms were enclosed.
