O'Banion Middle School is a public middle school located in Garland, Texas (USA). O'Banion Middle School enrolls students in grades 6-8 and is a part of the Garland Independent School District.

The attendance rate for students at the school is 96%, compared with a state average of 96%. 72% of the students at O'Banion are economically disadvantaged, 16% enroll in special education, 1% enroll in gifted and talent programs, 22% are enrolled in career and technology programs, and 22% are considered "limited English proficient."[4]
The ethnic makeup of the school is 67% Hispanic, 24% African American, 8% White, non-Hispanic, 1% Asian/Pacific Islander, and 1% Native American.[4]
The average class sizes at O'Banion are 16 students for English, 14 for foreign language, 17 for math, 22 for science, and 23 for social studies.[4]
Teachers at the school carry, on average, 8 years of teaching experience and 11% of the teachers on staff are first-year teachers.[4]
