Toot Baldon is a village within the civil parish of Baldons located about 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Oxford in Oxfordshire.

History

The Church of England parish church of Saint Lawrence was built mostly in the 13th century.[2] The Gothic Revival architect Henry Woodyer restored the building in 1865.[3] There is a memorial to the 1965 Little Baldon Hastings accident in the north aisle of the building.

Court House Farm is partly 16th century and Toot Baldon Manor House was built in the 17th century.[3]

Former parish school

A parish school was built in the 19th or early 20th century. It has since closed and the building is now a private house.

Amenities

Toot Baldon has a public house, the Mole Inn.[4] Toot Baldon and Marsh Baldon share a cricket club.[5]
