Just noticed your comment about Rhodes being too high. Assuming that this is Wilfred rather than Jonty (or Steve), what are you doing picking on my Wilfred :) That's scandalous! Hammond[edit]

I can cope with incredibly annoying, at least it's not deadly dull! :) I'll sort out the refs when it inevitably fails and I do a fairly big clean up. It probably needs it now as there seems to be a lot to do to it. That's fine, I just wish they'd be a bit more specific! I've been trying to get this improved for months now. To be honest, it's got a ridiculous number of references anyway. --Sarastro1 (talk) 23:27, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hopefully! Just a case of waiting for someone to come and review it. No-one seems to like cricket articles :) --Sarastro1 (talk) 10:29, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re:IPL[edit]

I was hoping when you would come online. Did not get a chance to go to IPL yet, as my parents are going to come this weekend and soon I will be going on a long leave. (Don't even want to think the state of the articles after I come back *shudder*). I hope I can catch a match at Kolkata, but it seems Eden is out of scope for matches :( --Legolas (talk2me) 10:29, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I know. I deserve this vacation after work and everything I have done here in Wiki. Let the fans have their nice time. I also saw the demolished building picture in Bengali news, seems pretty strange. Btw, do you have any plans of catching IPL live? ie Coming to India? --Legolas (talk2me) 10:42, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello[edit]

Hi Aaroncrick, yep still around. I am on another brief wiki sabbaticus, as I am working on a publishing project I have been offered, but when it is done, or I get a moment's spare time I will be back to finish off some of the Tassie things I started. I want to get Colony of Tasmania at least up to GA, and maybe work on converting History of Tasmania to prose form, as well as a few others. I am off to Naples for Easter, so I might get a bit of free time in the next week or two. Please do continue to provide feedback and suggestions, it is all constructive. 42° South (talk) 10:17, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kensington Oval[edit]

Good job. I would be happy if you did the same to the other ones too. Mr.Apples2010 (talk) 13:21, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the key you have used the term 'BF' but in the table it is still 'Balls'. Which do you think is better? Also do you think the tables should be titled 'List of test centuries' or just 'Test centuries'? Mr.Apples2010 (talk) 21:33, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah that's fine. I just wanted to standardise them. Mr.Apples2010 (talk) 21:44, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Great, small point: Do you think in the title it should say "...at the Kensington Oval"? Mr.Apples2010 (talk) 01:25, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, my opinions aren't in line with FLC orthodoxy. Well anyway, many of these centuries came in giant partnerships when both folks made centuries, so it might be good to point them out. The Lawry and Simpson opening stand was 382. The Atksinon/Depeaiza one was 250+?? and it prompted Miller to threaten to biff Johnson because his tactics were rubbish. Some of the other partnerships must have been very large?? The Sarwan/Ramdin one? The Lara 150* that engineered the 1-wicket win might be worth mentioning. Or maybe how many ODIs it took until the first century (not until 1985). As for what reviewers want, well they generally don't really want anything at all YellowMonkey (vote in the Southern Stars and White Ferns supermodel photo poll) 02:47, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Barber[edit]

Hello! I've responded to the review so far. Don't worry about the comments, I cobbled this article together from statistics over a few nights when I discovered there were two articles for this guy when I was working on Len Hutton. Just decided to expand it, but there's not much on him except in a few books. So it was probably a bit rushed, and the number of consecutive he's is just embarrassing. Needed a good tidy up. Hopefully it's a bit better now, but feel free to give it a good kicking! Cheers for the review. --Sarastro1 (talk) 11:14, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

GAN backlog elimination drive - 1 week to go[edit]

First off, on behalf of myself and my co-coordinator Wizardman, I would like to thank you for the efforts that you have made so far in this GAN backlog elimination drive. It has been nothing short of a success, and that is thanks to you. See this Signpost article about what this drive has achieved so far.

We're currently heading into the final week of the drive. At this time, if you have any GANs on review or on hold, you should be finishing off those reviews. Right now, we have more GANs on review or on hold than we do unreviewed. If you're going to start a GA review, please do so now so you can complete it by the end of the month and so that the nominator has a full 7-day window to address any concerns.

See you at the finish!

Anzac Day Clash - Offer to help out[edit]

I saw on the AFL project talk page that you are planning to work on the Anzac Day clash article. I'm not really much of a word-smith, but I'd be happy to help you out with some of the stats and results. I was thinking that I could add a subpage with detailed results for each game. I actually used last years Anzac match as the example for the detailed game template Template:AFLGameDetailed. So I was thinking I could produce something similar for each game. Might take me a week or two, as I don't always have a lot of time to devout to wiki-work. Let me know what you think. Cheers Matt5AU (talk) 00:00, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
