Shooting Glock[edit]

I see you tried to add a pic here. Need a hand? Maybe I can talk you through it. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 08:23, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I looked on Commons, & it's there, just not here, if that's what you mean. To add here, go to commons, copy the "image" line & paste in links [[]]. Hope that helps. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 10:29, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Or I should pay more attention... I looked, you got the pic on Timo's page just fine, working link to the '08 Singapore GP & all. Did you shoot that yourself? If so, very nice work. Thanks for the add. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 11:36, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanx for the link. A small tip: you can address it here like this [http://flickr.com/photos/9166406@N05/ here]. And wow, those pix are good. I wish I could get ones so good. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 14:04, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree Image:Bhayanak Maut.JPG[edit]

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Bhayanak Maut.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Bhayanak Maut.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bhayanak Maut.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:20, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of ACPM Medical College, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.acpmjmf.com/medical/aboutus.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Image:AJEH - cell phone.JPG[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:AJEH - cell phone.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:AJEH - cell phone.JPG|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Soundvisions1 (talk) 04:46, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Vandana has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Vandana S[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Vandana S, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

fails WP:NOTNEWS

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Ironholds (talk) 07:25, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Vandana S[edit]

I have nominated Vandana S, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vandana S. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. cut and paste[edit]

Hi Akshaygn, if you want to change the title of an article for whatever reason, such as the creation of a disambiguation page at an existing name, you should use the move functionality to do so. See WP:MOVE, and the tab near the top of your browser window. This ensures that the editing history is transferred along with the text, a requirement under the licensing Wikipedia uses. What you did to Vandana in copying to Vandana S is called a cut and paste move, and would need to be dealt with if the article is kept. Creating a disambiguation page at Vandana seems like a good idea! THEN WHO WAS PHONE? (talk) 12:21, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An article you created is about to be deleted: tools which can help you[edit]

The article you created, Vandana S is about to be deleted from Wikipedia.

There is an ongoing debate about whether your article should be deleted here:

The faster your respond, the better chance the article you created can be saved. This is because deletion debates only stay open for a few days, and the first comments are usually the most important.

There are several tools and other editors who can help you keep the page from being deleted forever:

  1. You can list the page up for deletion on Article Rescue Squadron. If you need help listing your page, add a comment on the Article Rescue Squadron talk page.
  2. You can request a mentor to help explain to you all of the complex rules that editors use to get a page deleted, here: Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User. But don't wait for a mentor to respond on the deletion page.
  3. When try to delete a page, veteran editors love to use a lot of rule acronyms. Don't let these acronyms intimidate you.
Here is a list of your own acronyms you can use yourself: WP:Deletion debate acronyms which may support the page you created being kept.
Acronyms in deletion debates are sometimes incorrectly used, or ignore rules or exceptions.
  4. You can merge the article into a larger article.

If your page is deleted, you still have many options available. travb (talk) 19:23, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:39, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Timo Glock in his Toyota at the Singapore Grand Prix 2008.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Timo Glock in his Toyota at the Singapore Grand Prix 2008.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:26, 9 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 03:26, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:S_Natarajan_at_Bombay_Ophthalmologists_Conference.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris 06:05, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Debraj Shome[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Debraj Shome. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Debraj Shome. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:15, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Debraj Shome, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
