Hello, BlueGuide7551. Thanks for your recent edits to Template:Minneapolis Police Department and Killing of Philando Castile. I wanted to explain why I reverted the edits. The traffic stop that preceded Castile's death was in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. Castile was fatally shot by a police officer with the St. Anthony, Minnesota, police department. Falcon Heights and St. Anthony are in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, but they are separate cities from Minneapolis. Also, Castile's traffic stop and shooting did not involve officers from the Minneapolis Police Department. Thanks again for your efforts to improve Wikipedia. About warnings

Since you're fairly new here, I thought I'd give you a heads-up about something. If you delete a warning, it doesn't go away. In fact, it's evidence that you saw the warning. The warning is always in the history of your talk page. Wikipedia has a graduated system of warnings. You've edited about three months with about 800 edits. Yet you've received multiple warnings for problem edits. Your last warning was at level three. The highest level is level four, depending on the severity of disruption caused by the edit. If you get to level 4, there's a very good chance that your next problem edit will result in loss of editing privileges. I hope that doesn't happen. I suggest that you click the links in all of the warnings and read the relevant policies and guidelines. And it's very important to communicate with other editors, instead of ignoring them. Edit summaries are important, and they can help avoid misunderstandings. But an edit summary doesn't excuse violations of policies and guidelines. Again, click all of the links on this talk page and read all of the policies and guidelines, including from any warning that you have deleted. Ignorance of a policy is not an excuse if you've been warned about violating it. And again, equally and perhaps more important, communicate with other editors. Hello! So I saw that you added the terrorism template to the Columbine page, and that you've also added a few shootings to that template and the page it is based on. You were then reverted by @Corgi Stays:. Under WP:BRD (and WP:ONUS/WP:NOCON), we should now discuss the inclusion (and come to a consensus) before reincluding the template in the article.
