Hello, Eagle3399, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!--Mishae (talk)

The technical name for "editing the name of a Wikipedia page" in the Wikipedian language is "moving a page"; This help page will give you the instructions and rule for doing so.
I hope you found this answer helpful. (If yes, remove the "{{helpme}}" from this post.)

New York City[edit]

Hello, there have been a number of discussions on whether this article should be named New York or New York City. Please refer to the talk page archives, where the consensus was New York City. If you feel New York is the more fitting name and that this issue should be revisited, feel free to start a new discussion. Until then let's stick with what we have, thanks! — MusikAnimal talk 05:47, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

I have reverted your latest edits. Please abide by the consensus as mentioned in the entry above. Continuation of your disruptive edits may result in you being banned from editing. Thank you, David J Johnson (talk) 20:22, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Languages of Europe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Greek (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
