April 2014

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Radical feminism. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Ging287 (talk) 19:48, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocked

[edit]

I apologise, I blocked you in error. I misread diffs in the edit war. I have unblocked you, but I caution you not to resume the edit war. Guy (Help!) 08:18, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Men's rights movement probation sanctions notice

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, Men's rights movement, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Talk:Men's rights movement/Article probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is necessarily any problem with your edits. Thank you. -- Bbb23 (talk) 23:39, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

June 2014

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Men's rights movement. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 15:22, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Block notice

[edit]
To enforce an community sanction, and for disruptive editing against consensus on the page Men's rights movement, as described at WP:MRMPS,
you have been blocked from editing for 31 hours. You are welcome to make useful contributions once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block. If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the sanction and then appeal your block using the instructions there. Bbb23 (talk) 13:39, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder to administrators: Community sanctions are enacted by the consensus of the community. You must either discuss this block with the blocking administrator and receive their approval, or receive consensus at a community noticeboard before reversing this block.

[edit]
To enforce community authorised sanctions,
you have been temporarily blocked from editing. You are welcome to make useful contributions once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Reminder to administrators: Community sanctions are enacted by community consensus. In order to overturn this block, you must either receive the approval of the blocking administrator or consensus at a community noticeboard (you may need to copy and paste their statement to a community noticeboard).
