Prithviraj Sukumaran[edit]

To keep all the hard work of editors I have moved Prithviraj Sukumaran filmography to a new page called 'Prithviraj Sukumaran filmography'. THE REASON: so this doesn't take to much space on Prithviraj Sukumaran's page and you can keep co stars, role, directors etc. So no more conflicts. Any problems message me. Xxxsacheinxxx (talk) 18:39, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
Your efforts to improve the article on Prithviraj Sukumaran is well appreciated. Keep up the good work. There is more scope of improvement on the article. I hope you will be able to tailor it well. For any help, leave me a message.
Cheers, -- Rajith Mohan (Talk to me..) 03:44, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
It is natural to feel a sense of ownership in those articles created or extensively worked on. But, we need to go with the consensus, which will definitely improve the article. With all the respect I have for you (for creating and contributing heavily to Prithviraj Sukumaran), I suggest to move the filmography section to a seperate page. We will still keep the latest filmography in the main article. This will help the readers not to stumble upon heap of information, but the convenience of selection.
Also, please discuss on the related talk page before further reverts.
Cheers, -- Rajith Mohan (Talk to me..) 09:31, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
I could not see any discussion regarding the filmography in the Talk page of the article. Established editors will not do blind reverts by just stating Wikipedia:Vandalism. I strongly support moving the filmography page to a seperate section, which will be boosting the prominence of the article. If you could really work on the article, we can go for a Good Article nomination. I have taken the issue in the TALK PAGE. Let us see who all among the serious editors are opposing a seperate filmography page (need not consider the Sock Puppets, anonymous IPs and newbies.
Cheers, -- Rajith Mohan (Talk to me..) 07:32, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
I dint understand why I should not edit the filmography. The reverts are made by a single person using multiple accounts, which is identified as sock puppetry. This can invite a block on all the ids and user names. I have requested for a check user, and based on the findings, I will take steps to block the users and IP, associated with the sock puppets. And I will continue my contributions, and wont be going back in fear of vandalism using multiple accounts.
Cheers, -- Rajith Mohan (Talk to me..) 07:27, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
The ids are checked for sock puppetry. Please see the results here : Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser. Please feel free to revert back the changes done by these sock puppets. He is doing the reverts without any consensus. I will be initiating a block on the ids soon.
Cheers, -- Rajith Mohan (Talk to me..) 09:17, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. I will have a check on that.

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Icedaddycool! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 942 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Prithviraj filmography - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Plot summaries[edit]

Hi. I've removed the plot summary from Thanthonni, as you seem to have copied it from [1]. While you're welcome to write a description of the film in your own language, the previous description must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences or phrases. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:11, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Prithvi2010.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Prithvi2010.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:06, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Prithviraj moved[edit]

Normally i wouldn't be apprising you, since you had earlier reverted my moving I thought it's better so.

I have moved Prithviraj SukumaranPrithviraj (Malayalam actor) as per WP:Naming conventions; since "Prithviraj" is the common name. If you think otherwise; that "Prithviraj Sukumaran" is more common, I hope you will discuss in the talk page before you make a re-move. Thanks and regards. The article Anush Mohan has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. A tag has been placed on File:Prithviraj-2010.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ...Captain......Tälk tö me... 17:11, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Prithviraj filmography[edit]

Hi, the current table that shows on his page is unsuitable for Wikipedia and does not adapt to its rules. When you mentioned that a lot of information is going - well, why don't you add them to each film article then. How is it relevent for the Prithviraj article to know that Swarnamalya acted in Mozhi? or that little known Vinoo Anand made him appear in a guest appearance or that Prithviraj is even aware that films like Sothanai/Moondram Pirai were even released?

Basically, it will have to be removed - similiar problems existed in Tamil film articles four/five years ago and were duely removed, I expect the same to be done here. Universal Hero (talk) 14:33, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Prithviraj in 2010.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Prithviraj in 2010.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:16, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
