MRRD website[edit]

It worked for me now; not sure what was causing me problems last night. BTW; while I am an anthems hobbyist, I have little knowledge about the Afghan anthem other than what I know about it from the CD and the nationalanthems.us forum that we both visit. Anthems[edit]

Thank you for restoring the Asian anthems. Badagnani 05:01, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. Inkan1969 22:33, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kimi ga Yo audio file[edit]

I found a public domain recording in my personal collection. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 23:18, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a bunch. I appreciate the effort you made. Inkan1969 23:53, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. It took some time to get the audio to sound right, but enjoy. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 01:18, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Local flag variants for standard flag templates[edit]

Hi, I changed a few flag template changes you made so that the official flag is used instead of a local one. If you want to use a local flag on specific articles you are working on, please feel free to use Template:Flag (e.g. {{flag|Tokelau|local}}), but the "shorthand" three-letter flag templates (such as {{TKL}}) ought to use the standard official flag only. Thanks, Andrwsc (talk) 21:48, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the explanation. I won't interfere with the three letter templates then. Inkan1969 (talk) 22:14, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of countries[edit]

Hi. It only looks like I undid your revisions, but I didn't. I've incorporated everything you did into what I'm working on. I like your choice of phrasing with regard to the definitions of unrecognized countries.
Cheers. The €T/C 07:03, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK- it is done. I was thinking of putting myself as the major contributor to the article, but since you helped to fix it, should I add your name as well? Of course this means that you'll have to update the unrecognized states as needed... just a thought.
Cheers. The €T/C 09:10, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest you read the above policy, your edit could be construed as promoting what appeared to be a commercial site; it was not used as a cite in the article or a source. This is known as link spamming - you will note that I assumed your edit was good faith but unaware of the relevant policy. Regards. Justin talk 10:44, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It appears to be a commercial site or perhap's an individual's site, WP:EL is not the only relevant policy but also WP:RS. Justin talk 10:27, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Victoria, Hong Kong[edit]

Please look at the Victoria City entry. The boundary extends into what is now the Eastern District from the Central and Western District. HkCaGu (talk) 16:18, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Palm Beach county[edit]

Not sure what was intendeded on PB county charter date. Apparently not vandalism, which seemed quite possible before I read this page. Student7 (talk) 01:10, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote that section in the first place. At first, I thought I should use the dates when the municipalities took either their current status ( city vs town vs village ) or their current names. But websites like the Florida League of Cities use the date they were first incorporated, even if they've changed status or name since then. That's why I changed the years. May I put my changes back in again? Inkan1969 (talk) 02:08, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

South Carolina[edit]

I reverted your edits because they weren't sourced. It's one thing to claim that the information is backed up by the website, but it's an entirely different thing actually to back up that information. Longstanding practice is to require articles for communities that claim to be anything other than ordinary unincorporated communities, since (1) there's a specific list of CDPs and municipalities, unlike with ordinary unincorporated communities, and (2) a navigational template is not the place for citations or for unlinked entries. Nyttend (talk) 03:48, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How would I put a citation in a template, if the page doesn't exist? I don't have the time to create a whole new page for every CDP without one. Inkan1969 (talk) 18:23, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the work. The whole point is that we don't have redlinks in the CDPs section, since there's no way to show that they actually are CDPs. Please create those pages when you have time and add them at your convenience afterward. Nyttend (talk) 21:13, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List[edit]

Well I put up the percentage amounts because I know some people like to know the difference between one year to next so I believe that should stay. However, for the CDP's and the other things you suggested I would do it on my own, but it's a lot of data to do and I'm usually very busy so I honestly do not have time to make such a huge fix.

Mary and the Witch's Flower[edit]

It appears you edited an addition I made on 1/22/18. But you removed the word "concurrent" from my edit. Please re-read the sentence as it now stands and you will see it makes no sense; i.e., why would an English-language version require subtitles?

Best, Michael Schlesinger Cadavra8Cadavra8 (talk) 17:37, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what you're talking about. I went to the page history. None of my edits match what you describe. I didn't even find any edit that matches what you describe. I don't even see anyone named "Cadavra8" listed in the history. Inkan1969 (talk) 00:22, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
