Disambiguation link notification for February 6[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Timeline of space exploration, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ASI. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

I do not contest it as I have no time to create a page for now. Speedy deletion it is, I might create an actual page in a year or two. Thanks for notifying me. CodemWiki (talk) 23:58, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Launch tower[edit]

You have mentioned "Launch tower".--I am looking forward to reading more about that in the article about the "Starship system".--Have you thought about the name of a new section, if needed?--I would expect that the Starbase article will get its fair share of relevant updates - from Wikipedia users. 2001:2020:32F:ECE9:5879:240A:DCAB:1A59 (talk) 18:29, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't thought about the name of a new section yet, but it's true the launchpad/launch tower complex should probably deserve a section of their own. I just remember having to add some info about the launch tower and having to copy paste it on different pages because the topic is so dispatched and right now disorganized. Though wikipedia is group project, you can edit the pages and add sourced info to Starship pages as well, just create an account. Even protected pages are easy to edit just verify your email. Please post new topics at the bottom of talk pages, not the top[edit]

LUCA[edit]

Hi, thanks for your efforts to improve this article. If you have any more edits to make, it'd be appreciated if you'd note that the article names references like "Smith Jones Robinson 2023" rather than ":012" so that other editors can see at a glance which paper is intended. Further (if this applies to you) please check before adding a source that it isn't already defined in the article. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 10:25, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Starship Flight Tests[edit]

Hiya I see you editing Starship a lot and I wondered if you'd consider changing the Titles from "attempted orbital test flight" to "integrated test flight" since they're not actually attempting orbit (its not really orbital) and that's how they're described by SpaceX themselves.

Attempted isn't needed either since these are iterative flights not operational.

Hope you agree and consider JudaPoor (talk) 11:07, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This kind of discussion is better on the talk page of the article itself. But you're right, maybe "near-orbital" is a more accurate a word? "Integrated" is already in the title of each articles, so it would be repetitive, while the word "Integrated" itself doesn't evoke anything in particular to average reader, that's probably why we don't use it too much. CodemWiki (talk) 11:58, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
IFT 1/2/etc could also be better.
I feel Orbital and attempt kinda mislead people about the objectives and goals of the tests JudaPoor (talk) 16:00, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

SpaceX Starship design process DYK[edit]

Great job on SpaceX Starship design process! Have you thought about nominating it for Did You Know? Thriley (talk) 21:39, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I did not write the majority of the content of the page (see respective talk page). The content of the page is likely mostly the work of User:CactiStaccingCrane, and it moved between different pages for a while, as it did not really fit it anywhere. So it was bound to become its own page at some point. CodemWiki (talk) 22:04, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What? Move Starship???[edit]

Hi Codem,

I couldn't help but notice that you are a major contributor to the SpaceX articles. I just put a proposal over there at one of the: Starship article talk pages. If you get a chance, I would very much appreciate your opinion on my proposal there.

Thanks,

Thank you for your quick, thoughtful and helpful reply. I've just made my reply to your reply, but I don't know if it's quite as thoughtful or helpful.
