Sir I have edited this users content, but the user kept reverting

I agree completely with your accusations, but you need to understand that this is why I have been requesting the blocks against the user Thegingerone in the first place.Kevin j (talk) 19:45, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

In Response

No, I do not write like that kind of of person. The user harasses me, I respond. And no, the dispute will not be resolved for another day, because it needs to be resolved NOW. Read the content the user wrote earlier, because yes there is vandalism. Also, I only wrote the questions three times because it didn't seem like me voice was getting heard.Kevin j (talk) 20:42, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank for your concern. To answer you questions, all I want is the administrators to enforce the content in the articles like they should be enforced. One crucial policy to me is the NPOV policy. I want the resolution to be resolved through this enforcement, and I want it to be made clear to Thegingerone that it will be enforced and that it must be followed, and that the user, like all other users, will be blocked if the vandalism continues. Sharesource

Good job on cleaning the sharesource article.--Torchwood Who? (talk) 15:29, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I originally tagged it for advertising language before I applied the speedy tag. After a about fifteen minutes of good searching I couldn't find anything reliable so I speedy tagged it. I think the editor is going to be between a rock and hard place for sources and it might never make it past an AfD, but I'll keep my eye out for anything that might be of value.--Torchwood Who? By all means put the text in as a seperate section, but for consistency with all other spaceflight articles the bulleted list should be kept in place at the start. Hammersfan, 26/03/08, 23.29 GMT

Not really, because, as I have stated, for concistency every manned spaceflight article would need to be so altered. Besides, having looked at the text in detail, much of what is relevant I have put in the bullet list or added as notes. I have listed below bullet points about my views on the text:
  • Date crew announced: Irrelevant - why should the date this crew was announced matter any more than the date any other crew was announced?
  • Crew: Bulleted alongside roles - what their previous flights were is irrelevant in the context of this flight; all that is needed is the number of flights they have made as with all other missions.
  • Swapping of Collins and Lovell: Mention made in the brief note I have left, along with the reason and the reference.
  • Reason for Backup crew: Irrelevant, because that comes under the heading of "the blooming obvious" - for such a task, there are always backups.
  • Haise being drafted in: Mention made in the brief note I have left.
Putting in a standard crew bullet list with notes, as is the case on other manned spaceflight articles, does not detract from its status as a featured article, but to me the whole point is that related pages should follow certain standards of concistency - manned spaceflight missions have similar layouts, and this mission, important as it was and well written as it may be, should follow these also. Hi, User:Suciindia posted some comments in talk page. The vandalism done by the IP 213.160.242.61 certainly does not belong to User:Suciindia. User:Suciindia is from India and the IP used by this account certainly will be of India. IP 213.160.242.61 is from Oslo [1]. This IP certainly does not belong to User:Suciindia. User:Suciindia is controlled by an Indian party. So can you review the block. Thanks. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 10:30, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

ECOLAS

Dear UltraExactZZ, I stand for ECOLAS which has an article in Wikipedia that was challenged by you. You are asking to provide references. However, I don't know which certain information shold be marked with source. We are only starting organization and there are not many paper or electronic sources yet. Anyway, I would like to add anything if possible. But I myself don't see the information in the article as of nature where external references would be appropriate yet. Show me in which I am wrong. Thank you in advance for informing me so that I can enhance article's quality. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrej blacky (talkcontribs) 11:28, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

To your specific question, the creator of the above noticeboard post is most likely a sock of User:Mykungfu, and has been reported at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Mykungfu (6th); he's just taking advantage of the backlog and his new proxy to be disruptive, which as been his MO for some time. Hey, I guess something went wrong and some current threads are lost [7]. Can you restore them please? Thanks Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 14:51, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Rather curious as to why the editor (Jsn...) chose to censor all of my contributions from yesterday. I'm suspecting a bit of trollery. Orderinchaos 15:05, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
I didn't revert you as such - I was restoring a nearly 2-hour-old version which was still intact. For some reason the editor went in and surgically removed random comments - several of which were mine from earlier in the day. Apologies if my actions caused any confusion or offence at your end - was certainly unintended. Orderinchaos 15:10, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
No worries, I think what happens when something bizarre like that happens is that different people with different bits of the story try to figure out what went on and end up at seeming cross purposes with each other until they all figure out what happened :) Gotta love community editing. Referring to Loyola College in Maryland and Loyola College Name Change, I am new to this, please specifically let me know what parts of my post seemed to carry a non neutral point of view as all of my comments were facts. Former Loyola College President Harold Ridley opposed a name change, that is a historical fact. The opposing view to the current name change are potential branding issues, that is a fact that this in an opposing view. Those with comments have been invited to contact the school directly by the methods I have mentioned.

I would be happy to change the references to academic programs at Loyola Universities if that was problematic. Fadiga and the Ip

It´s true that I have a discussion with Fadiga in a few articles but: Isn´t it a HUGE cheat to edit with an IP number and with a count created? Isn´t a HUGE cheat to do what he wants with an IP, CHEATING the warning he recives? Please, one thing is one thing, and another thing is another thing... Don´t mix the issues, please. We are talking about tow different things... I can´t discuss with users that cheats, breaking the wikipedia rules...

Welcome to the Military history project

Hi. You reported an IP to AIV, and I have declined the report. While some of the IPs edits do not seem to be productive, and the IP is not discussing disputed edits in the proper way, there does not seem to be overt vandalism for which a block would be in order. I've cautioned the IP to discuss such disputed changes before making them, and I'll monitor as I can. If there are further shenanigans, please report them to the Administrator's Noticeboard for Incidents at WP:ANI, as this goes beyond the simple vandalism that AIV handles. Thanks, UltraExactZZ Claims ~ Evidence 13:37, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry we weren't able to help out this time around, and sorry you had to report multiple times. I've watchlisted some of the problem articles, and I'll keep an eye on the IP's contributions; If they revert without discussing, or if they revert a good faith edit as vandalism, ping me and I'll block if I'm around. For your reference, the report and discussion were moved to the talk page at WT:AIV. Thanks, UltraExactZZ Claims ~ Evidence 13:59, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

New Project

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.

If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 04:43, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

How was this patent nonsense? While admittedly I can't read cyrillic and don't have a font installed that displays this glyph, it looked like a perfectly comprehensible (if short) article, seemed consistent with both Ь and Ъ (which it linked to) and Cyrillic characters in Unicode (which links to it), and googles quite well, considering the obscure subject. —Cryptic 15:29, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Rfb participation thanks

Hello, Ultra.

I wanted to personally thank you for taking part in the project-wide discussions regarding my candidacy for bureaucratship. After bureaucratic discussion, the bureaucrats decided that there was sufficient significant and varied opposition to my candidacy, and thus no "Ultra-Exact" consensus to promote. Although personally disappointed, I both understand and respect their decision, especially in light of historical conservatism the project has had when selecting its bureaucrats. If you have any further suggestions or comments as to how you think I could help the project, please let me know. Once again, thank you for your both your early and strong support, and your continued advice. -- Avi (talk) 16:36, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

You recently deleted an article that I was still in the middle of writing. Your comment stated that it looked like an advertisement. Hi Ultraexactzz; I wanted to say thank you for supporting my request for adminship, which passed with 100 supports, 0 opposes and 1 neutral. I wanted to get round everybody individually, even though it's considered by some to be spam (which... I suppose it is! but anyway. :)). Dr Spam (MD)

I suggest that you ask that user to verify that they are a doctor or ban them. Is there somewhere that I can complain about inappropriate usernames? Dr Spam is bad enough but the Dr Spam (MD) makes a claim of being a doctor. Worse yet, they have been disciplined for bad behavior. This brings disrepute to the medical profession.

On the other hand, I am seeking to have verification that I am a doctor so that people will know that I am not a convict or from a drug company. After I get that, then I plan to write something in Wikipedia. Doctor Wikipedian (talk) 16:45, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Cool. :) Just a comment as I'm happy to wait for the AFD on this one. CSD G10 as written doesn't appear to apply only in instances where the attack is unreferenced. The sentence where referencing is raised reads as if this is simply one example of where the policy applies. That is, "This includes [but is not necessarily limited to?] a biography of a living person that is entirely negative in tone and unsourced". The main criteria, however, appears to be simply that the article "serves no purpose but to disparage their subject or some other entity". (Whether or not the only purpose of this particular page is to disparage the subject is in my view the main arguable point here.) Debate (talk) 04:41, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

"I'm discussing the matter with Mwmalone (talk · contribs) on his talk page, but I'd also ask that you try to assume good faith with regard to Mwmalone; even if his edits appear to be vandalism, some benefit of the doubt may be in order. I've also asked Mwmalone to do the same (assume good faith) with regard to your edits. I'm hoping this can be discussed without further edit warring, and I'd invite you to raise your points at talk:Hot Summer (song).

This sound like you(and Wikipedia) have already decided in Noboyo's favor and presumed my guilt in the matter. This in not fair.

"I've requested that both Mwmalone (talk · contribs) and Noboyo (talk · contribs) discuss the genre of this song here. I note that a source was provided indicating that the song was House, which Mwmalone disputes. I would strongly ask that the matter be discussed and evaluated here, and that no further reversions take place, as the article is (and was) dangerously close to an edit war. Thanks in advance,"

Noboyo hasn't really provided any good sources, other than the fact that an artist from the group in question -- Monrose -- labeled it as "house music". That is akin to Dolly Parton labeling "Jolene" as disco; just because the performed says it doesn't make it a fact. Also, Noboyo has discussed NOTHING! He/she just made the changes and went on. I've heard the Wiki administration could be this presumptive, but this is my first time experiencing this. This issue doesn't look to have an easy resolution -- especially if you've already decided in Noboyo's favor! (Mirror Ball 18:30, 27 May 2008 (UTC))

RfA thank you spam

Hi there - thank you for supporting me in my RfA, which passed 69/10/3 yesterday. I will put the tools to good use and hopefully justify the confidence you had in me. Best wishes Fritzpoll (talk) 11:43, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

User:Sophiness

Could you please explain why you blocked User:Sophiness

I can only see 2 edits made in the last year, and those are the removal of an odd bit of one article. I don't think this is 'blatant vandalism'.

Also, why is it indefinitely blocked?

Monrose "house music" issue...

Hello again. I wanted to say that I appreciate your directing myself and the OTHER user "Dispute Resolution". However, Noboyo has NOT tried to discuss ANYTHING! I suspect that I will have to take this to the next level. Is that Arbitration? I wouldn't be so upset about it, but I HAVE left messages on the various discussion boards. Also, I created this list for the benefit of people trying to learn about the subject, and his "submission" just isn't factual. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. I have taken your advice on the Monrose issue

The ball's in his/her court now. (Mirror Ball 13:39, 29 May 2008 (UTC))

Neurology categories

Ah thank you, yes, I did intend for those to be deleted as well. The reason for all these deletes is that they are almost all small typos (lower case 'n' in neurology means it needs to stay, upper case is a typo and needs to be deleted!) thanks :) Regards, CycloneNimrodTalk?Sign? 17:49, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, that's very helpful :) Feel free to ask if you need anything in return ;) Regards, CycloneNimrodTalk?Sign? 17:54, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
