Manhattan, New York City[edit]
Please stop deleting that she was born and died in Manhattan. She did not die in the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, or Staten Island. It is properly referenced, and you are edit warring. Stop reverting the formatting of references. They are properly formatted using the citation template. Go to: http://www.italiangen.org/records-search/ Then there are databases for birth, marriages and deaths. I can't send you a link to their record, because there is no landing page, you get a dynamic search. Go to: http://www.italiangen.org/records-search/births.php There are also marriage and death databases. Type in her last name and hit search and you should see the two birth certificates indexed with adjacent numbers. Another great resource is https://familysearch.org/ It gives you access to billions of birth, marriage and death records. It is free, but you have to register. You can start a free tree for your own family while there. I searched for her at once on Wikipedia, but my (admittedly cursory) glance at her (very tedious) page failed to assuage my anxious bewilderment. (Please don't think that I'm denying your accusation, Pythia: I simply don't remember thinking of the bitch, let alone defaming her.) (Oh, bother! I must be careful.
