The Shipyard management team had the two ships anchors placed out midstream in case of mooring line failure. The ship was held by one anchor after one failing. My father was the shipyard manager and he and a small team were the first responders and should be recognised for saving Brisbane from what could have been a much worse flood. In 2010 the Sydney Morning Herald published an entirely inaccurate account of the event. undo Tag: Visual edit
