  • curprev 12:0912:09, 17 June 2022Cosywafu talk contribsm 51,367 bytes +36 Open to debate but likely of interest to casual readers and especially tourists is that the A303 pans the entire width of ancient Wessex (size of circa 600 AD) prior to it expanding to become effectively modern day England. When taken in to account with National Highways’ funded plan to dual the A303 and A358 from the M3 at Winchester to the M5 at Taunton to ‘Expressway’ standard, it has been suggested that the programme be named “The Wessex Expressway” in 2020 but remains subject to approval. undo Tags: Reverted Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit Advanced mobile edit
